  • this 2005 bmw williams were awesome.

  • Who hell that Ape think he is? He cutted the chicane and Webber didn't, and Webber just keeps driving and doesn't show any kind of hand-marks, and when Alonso did the same thing again but failed, he waved his hand? THAT'S NOT RACING FERNANDO! And how somebody can be a fan of him? We need REAL racer's like Webber, Hamilton, Vettel, Schumacher or Räikkönen! Go to hell Alonso!

  • @MrTrueFinn Chill out lol. Yes it was a dog act, but Fernando is a brilliant pilot.

  • @MusicalAndTall And the most childish.

  • Amazing how Kimi led the whole race from start to finish.

  • Webber! I love you!! :)

  • i wish f1 is still like this cuz now theres no real overtaking all drivers have to do is stay behind a guy then when he on a straight they press a button and zoom right by plus the cars back then were much sexier :D

  • @Mockeryo I totally agree! even though DRS is meant to make it more 'exciting' i'd rather see the drivers put all of their talent into overtaking.

  • cheater at 4:28

  • ALONSO YOU CHEAT

  • alonso is a faggot / cheater

  • wtf is the guy at 0:25 wearing on his head? tht cant be the shape of his head

  • Meanwhile 20 or so secs in front - Kimi "Somehow not the 2005 F1 World Champ" Raikkonen.

Also, massively distracted by the guy in yellow amongst the Williams crew as they cheer. Did some guy from Jordan just wander across? xD

  • Old Williams>BMW williams>Today's Williams

  • Fuckin Alonso cutting the chicane...what a whiny bastard. Always wanting to be catered to.

Examples: This video, Germany 2010, and he whined when Petrov wouldn't move over for him at Abu Dhabi 2010.

  • @Walldude82

Hey Im new to the sport...just learning about it now...could you explain to me how is it legal for him to cut through that bend at 3:00 like that? Im assuming that's the "chicane" you're referring to. If you can go straight through then why does anyone bother with turning and slowing down?

  • @amarnamriju In normal racing conditions you must navigate that chicane. However in Monaco it is so hard to overtake he was trying desperately to overtake Webber, thus cut the chicane multiple times.

  • @amarnamriju A driver is not allowed to gain an advantage by cutting the track. This is determined by looking at sector times by the stewards at the race. If the driver does cut a track by accident, they will rejoin the track and slow down slightly to avoid being penalised. If the driver overtakes someone by cutting the track they must allow them to pass. In this case, both Webber and Alonso neither gain an advantage over each other (they both cut the track) or other cars - thus no penalties.

  • Its freshing to watch these Alonsos brighter moments during his carrerXD

  • Isn't Alonso supposed to let him pass because he cut the chicane? Or does he not have to because Webber also went off-course on that corner?

  • @YawnGod i dont really know because of that haad happened to him today then alonso would have had to give webber the position back because the cut was an advantage to alonso

  • @YawnGod one could argue that. second time around he definitely would have had to yield to webber had he gotten by again, because he deliberately cut the chicane

  • Alonso is a cheat!

  • "Amazing" is pushing it a bit

  • back when cars looked good and were fast...

  • Alonso is scum

  • @pizzaBmike your mother is scum

  • @quiquegines I don't disagree. She neglected my brother and I, and abused my older brother so we are in agreement. Alonso and my mother are scum.

  • Karthikeyan out(((

  • 2005 was an awesome era of f1 cars. that mclaren is still my favourite looking car today

  • Alonso's waving a 4:29, proves he has more time for bitching than racing, what a twat

  • Der Experten-Kommentator in Österreich ist echt gut.

Nicht wie dieser behinderte bei Sky.

  • 0:16 - Where did that come form?! EPIC MOVE!

  • These were the best looking F1 cars ever...

  • @i010524 i agree theres something about these cars that make them so sexy

  • Good video, but I kind of wish it showed MSC going berserk at the end, where he passed Barrichello at the chicane and then almost got his brother on the front straight.

  • I wish we can have a third party dyno the engines from Mercedes, BMW, Renault, Honda, Toyota and Cosworth to see what the power band is like, BHP and Torque.

  • Alonso was a fucking asshole there

  • Wow williams has come a long way huh

A top 10 win now would be good for williams

  • I miss V10's!!!!

  • die gute alte formel 1

  • i always likes these tires on the cars rather than the slicks

  • @lewkev23 i think alonso's tyres were so old, they practically were slicks XD

  • @1993raptor All the cars tyres were old, 2005 no pit stops for new rubber :)

  • @Stevelangdon93 yea i know but Alonso's seem really worn out... check out the rear right... i remember how much i hated him back then (massive ferrari fan here XD)

  • @1993raptor Ahh okay, probably because he was pushing so hard to keep the williams behind him :') fair enough, at this time i was the biggest raikkonen fan! cant wait to see him back on the grid :P

  • @Stevelangdon93 yea i was so thrilled when i heard he was returning... "do not talk to me in the middle of a corner" hahahaha

  • these days they would both get a reprimande of a drive trough. With every attempt to overtake alonso (exept heidfelds attempt) webber did not make the corner. if this was 2011, webber would have given the place back or follow the concequenses.

  • @renaatbourgeois He did make the corner! watch it again, if 2 wheels are on the curb it's fine, he was still on the track, just a bit deep haha

  • god I miss the sound of a v10 engine in formula 1

  • Its funny how you guys are commenting Webber while its quite obvious that Alonso brakes later when Webber tries to overtake then when he did when Heidfeld tried it. How else would you explain Alonso missing the chicane aswell on both Webbers tries?

  • @amdrke really man? really? Its not possible for alonso to brake later and webber to pull infont. The second attempt i can clearly see alonso turn and cut the corner. He could have easily made that corner but in his mind it would have been too slow fromt he angle he was going at and webber would have gained that place. Sorry but learn more about actually racing before u comment

  • The BMW's V10 was a Beast !!

  • Kimi wins!!!!!!!!!!

  • Last double podium for Williams... :(

  • @GeriatricFan1963 So far... hopefuly

  • This video perfectly demonstrates Heidfeld's racecraft. He pulled off the overtake on Alonso with relative ease while his team mate had to try numerous times and could only do it by running off the road..

  • @Anime998877 but webber had to deal with the fact that alonso was now aware of webbers full intention knowing that the move could be pulled of while heindfeld had the advantage of supprise im not taking anything away from heidfeld though

  • @Anime998877 clearly webber had a harder time making the pass stick. Heidfeld only out braked alonso in the inside when alonso wasnt even paying attention.

  • @grandmothersBible - Nonsense. Of course Alonso was paying attention. Heidfeld's move was brilliant and how brave he was on the brakes while staying on the track was something Webber could not replicate. In fact in the whole of 2005 despite Webber continually outqualifying Heidfeld he was continually beat on race day. Heidfeld had 3 podiums to Webber's 1 and beat him on points 28-24.

I'm not saying Webber is a poor driver, I'm saying Heidfeld is underrated...

  • @Anime998877 he was suprised that heidfeld passed him there cause he came out of no where, so webber did the same but alonso was expecting it

  • @Anime998877 Sorry pal you are way off the mark!! Alonso admitted in a tv interview he wasnt paying attention when Heidfeld passed , as he was focused on traffic. I work in the motorsport industry and i can tell you its a well known fact Heidfeld can't match Webber on outright pace, not even close!! Webber simply overdrove that 05 Williams ,thats by his own admission . Webbers driving style is similar to Alonso's , very aggressive wheel and throttle inputs , thus generating more grip .

  • Crazy Webber^^

  • Somewhere in there Massa overtook Fisichella as well...

  • webbers first podium! i remember how happy i was

  • @aflsbrng if it was'nt for team stratergy would of been second place which sucks but thrid was still great

  • bitte mehr von heinz prüller!!! vor allem ab 1994 wennns gehd!!!

    danke!!!

  • Very good Vid man like it!
