Manu nor Charlie walked. That is one of those odd rules that technically gives you a half step. Both started the behind the back move in between foot steps. The first step after the move (which is the foot coming down after the move) does not count towards the two step rule.

It's the same as catching a pass between steps. I have argued with an official before about how that should be a walk and he and several others have explained it to me.
