  • ..*yawn*

Where's the part which involves the choir and makes you think of a battle about to commence with gladiators and what not? :o

  • I'm an agnostic/antitheist and I still get goosebumps when listening to this. Truth is: it was a man that put the magic of his musical genius into this fantastic music.

  • Haha this is so awesome! im playing this in my 7th grade orchestra class and its not simplified at all =) im a 2nd violin

  • @Chocolatemilkers well we're exactly the same age cuz we're both obviously in eighth grade right now and since i just barely missed getting into the first violin (sob sob) the second violin part makes no sense at all to me since its simplified and the orchestra sounds bad because the intermediate orchestra joined the advanced orchestra nad now we sound really REALLY bad

BTW SORRY FOR RANTING AT YOU PEOPLE XD

  • Fantastc way to open your performance of the oratorio!!! I also like the fact this performance was in July. Here in the States Messiah is a staple during the Christmas season and Handel always conducted it during Lent or Holy Week. I don't think it should be limited to seasons its message is for the whole year.

  • Nietzsche God is not Dead, He is in these music!!

  • @EstebanMigui - What a wicked and ignorant thing to say. Handel would not approve either.

  • lov emessiah overture. WE play it every year in concert band/ wind ensemble.

  • i want this sheet music!!! anyone know where to find it??

  • God is God.But this music is heaven and near for Him.!
