  • Awesome video. But yeah the magma guy is not from this set. The stairs inside also flip up revealing a set of teeth on the scary face too. Also the switch on the nose is for the lights. The missiles launched from the back end of the gun. The dragon placed near the back end and his wings stick out of the two large holes on the top. That way the overall set is a dragon with ears. Really neat.

  • GOOD VIDEOS FRIEND I HAVE VIDEOS MIGHTY MAX I INVITE TO SEE THEM MY CHANNEL TO YOU IS mrchicosexxx GREETINGS

  • the owls name is Virgil

  • oh my gosh! thats the playset i got for christmas!! hadn't seen it in years :)

  • I watched some of your mighty max reviews. Nice work! You might want to check out the Mighty Max Archives, a forum for fans of the toys, the cartoon and everything else. There isn't very much activity right now, but that varies over time. There are reviews, information and opinions on just about everything related to Mighty Max. I own every set ever produced myself and some more stuff.

Anyway, keep up the good work! Maybe you could mention the archives sometime? Liked and faved.

  • Duuuude I had that one, I wonder it must be now xD

  • for some reason the green stairs lifted up aswell...

  • the name is vergil

  • this was my favorite toy growing up, with my thundercats toys

  • I had this as a kid. I didn't have many big or expensive toys, but for some reason I had this one, and oh holy frak it was one of _the_ best toys I ever had.

Thank you for this video, I'm getting goosebumps just by some of the sounds. The dragon was my favourite part.

  • Could someone help me out. I am looking for a toyline that was based off of the mightymax idea at the time, except they were ufo's with little alien figures inside them. There were at least 3 I know of, a blue one, green and black. They were really neat, would love to get my hands on the set.

  • @shortymatt420 Dude I totally had one of those! I have no idea what they were called though, sorry...

  • Which do u think is the best MM ?

  • I got this for x-mas as a kid, that winter holiday was the best of my life. I've must have been the happiest kids alive. This playset was the shit, although you couldn't really fight the Skullmaster with Norman, seeing as he didn't have his sword unsheathed. Always wanted TWO Zilard henchmen to go with it, so I could play it just like the comics on the box, there wasn't any internet back then though, today you could probably get a whole bunch off of Ebay.

  • That bird is Virgil and you get Norman as well..

  • That was the best of the best!

  • Ah it brings me back when i was 3 years old... My big brother had the red mountain and i wanted a big one too, so i begged my mother and she bought me one :)

These were good days with even better toys...

  • This is beyond awesome! I never had this playset and bunch of others so I'm really interested to finally see what they are actually like! Thank you!

  • the owls name is vergal! body guard is norm!

  • hello there, I have the mighty max Blasts Magnus figure.

On the 6:43, the red monster should be in the Blasts Magnus set. (Locate on the back of the Blasts Magnus figure) Also, the main character (with the sword) should put on the left leg,

    Thank you

  • DUDE I LOVED THIS SHIT

  • LOL, Mat, that magma guy, he's actualy from that other big mighty max set that's shaped like a big magma monster. check on his back and you'll see a weird shaped hold on the left. That magma guy actually goes on the inside with his back sticking in that hole and he shows through to the outside.

  • @KevinLounsberry cool, thanks man!

  • @matlockwk no prob

  • @KevinLounsberry

he's from the magnus set. he fits in the back that folds down. i think lava lord comes with dragon island if im not mistaken, i think they just have the two mixed up. haha

  • @ matlockwk

Wow awesome! It is so hard to find this set with all the pieces. I'm so jealous lol!

  • I loved this one!

  • i miss the age of the micro toys and minis

  • @eldreamo76 yeah I have it, I will be reviewing it eventually but I was just kinda saving it...

  • sick

  • Cool set

  • Have had mine on an end table gathering dust for a decade. Wasn't even aware that there were other play-sets on this scale. Virgil was the owl. I lost all the Virgils I got from these various sets, along with the one standard Norman =x I always ended up taking those and playing with them, as opposed to monsters who I kept with the sets. I really liked when they added those two to the toy series, which seemed a little long overdue. I loved the outer set look to this, but the interior was meh

  • @WatchThisReview thanks for telling me there names, yeah it seems that everyone lost virgil cause when I bought this set it was not included, and I had to track one down online which took a while!

  • I definitely took this to show and tell when I was in 1st grade. This was the dopest playset.

  • Nice playset dude awesome review! and i hate this new youtube vuvuzela sound feature(soccer ball on the youtube player)

  • @JAIMEJOEL13 What does that thing even do?

  • @Grimmnok i makes vuvuzela sounds on the video like with on the wolrd cup like cheering the video or something it's useless but it sounds so annoying!

  • @JAIMEJOEL13 that scares the shit outa me i almost had a heart attack damn !!!

  • damn!!! its freaking huge!!! so many cool little things on there!! that red dragon is as big as some of the small play sets!! great set all around!! great review!!!

  • Holy HUGE! Didn't know they came that big!

  • @LegoLee329 that's what she said!
