  • They're the greatest!! Only 60 days to see them in Barcelona. I can't wait for that!!

  • This is so fitting . . . did you know that John Lennon who wrote this song got most of his guitar chords from banjo chords. He was taught banjo chords as a youth and built off of them. So cool

  • This is one fab version!

    Love it!

  • Unbelievable. Especially the breakdown at the end. Have you got any more of this stuff? Post it please!

  • And you mean "damn" i suppose.

  • u dam right!

    dam hillbillies on lsd.

  • Love these guys!!!

Gotta belive John Lennon would like this rendition, too.

  • You could at least respect other people's taste. Bluegrass is much richer musically then pop music, in many aspects.

  • i agree pop music sucks but i love metal and rock in general

  • By popular music I meant music on the mainstream.

  • Gotta love the boys :)

Feckin awesome music they make, and.. they're really nice guys too, and don't mind havin a beer with us mere mortals.

I've enjoyed drinkin with them every time they were in denmark, and had a great time every time. Say hi to your dad, from the guy who filmed them at Voxhall, Århus. :) He actually made me go out and buy a banjo... not that I'll ever reach his level of playing :)

  • Fun, yet serious talent.

  • these boys are brilliant!

  • Nailed!

  • don't know why this was "marked as spam" - Beatlegras seem relevant to this clip - maybe not quite as much fun as Hayseed, but still good - watch?v=DzFvlkvzNug is Lady Madonna, with a cool stand-up bass solo start.

  • When did Jerry Springer join Hayseed Dixie? Go Jerry Go Jerry.. :P

  • Oh ye, is your name jayson??

  • wow... now that's amazing...

  • Neighbor turned me onto HD. Don Wayne's one of the best 5 living banjoists, up with Earl, Bela, Steve Martin, Ben Eldrich, and that Keith fella, who invented those expensive tuners. Screwing around with War Pigs a long time ago, I realized Reno style was unsurpassed for interpreting heavy metal. Don Wayne confirms the theory. BTW, I am NOT Earl's kid.

  • what banjo is your dad useing? isit a deering?

  • im gonna be seein them for the 3rd time later in the month

  • Saw them for the fourth this month, addictive shit :)

  • ohh cool, your dads a member of a great band

all the guys seem pretty cool

  • yeah they are.

  • Wow! You can tell proper musicians from the usual YouTube hacks. They make a *great* sounding noise without any fancy recording, amplifiers or overdubbing. Hope they let you post some more rehearsal footage.

  • yeah. i have one other thing but the quality was even worse.

  • erm probably the don :S Dude can u play banjo?

  • no. bass, guitar, and drums.

  • So whos your dad?

  • Don wayne

  • How old are your Dad and uncles Dale and Ronnie?
