the one thing that Ps3 has better than xbox360 is AntiAliasing or AA (its what gets rid of jaggy edges in curves) they can both do 4xAA but the xbox cant use 4xAA on all games, it sometimes even has to turn it off alltogether. both are inferior to pc versions anyway because even the crappiest pc games can do 8xAA and most pc games can do 16xAA.

@megaspeed2 do you mean what you say about ps3 being better than xbox 360 on the antialiasing department? i think you confused them both. afaik, as for multiplatform games like NFS, ps3 has great disavantage over 360 because most of these games dont make use of intricate system of SPE's on the PS3, so its inferior GPU takes places, giving the PS3 roughly "a worse look"....

one thing i must admit though is that PS3's processor hella lot better, manipulating a lot more moving objects on screen...

@prankstare i guess your right, what i should have said is that some games will have better antialiasing on ps3 and some will have better antialiasing on the 360, which is just because multiplatform games are usualy designed with a certain console in mind and then reprogrammed slightly for other consoles which with developers just wanting to get the game out quick means the console they port it over to may or may not handle it perfectly.

@LauEnVin the ps3 has 8 cores and uses 7 with one of the 7 for the system and the 8th is there just because its cheaper to make 8 and disable one than to make a 7core cpu, and the graphics processor on ps3 and xbox360 are both equal. most games on ps3 only use one of the ps3's cores anyway because they are ported over from pc/xbox360 versions, only ps3 exclusive games fully utalise its 7core. graphics potential on ps3 is higher but game programmers cant afford to redesign games for each console.

they have different atialising technique - which makes the ps3 smoother and more blurry on the edges and the xbox more sharper , the result it's subjective ... and the brightness, yes you can adjust it from the screen

PS3 has slightly better ground textures. The world is more detailed too. take a look at distance view of the mountains at 2:02. At the same image you can see the color of the car looks more realistic on PS3 version. Like a said it's not a huge difference, you won't notice it unless you are fixed on it.
