The LFA owners could've bought 3 GT-Rs and tuned them faster than a LFA, but they didn't cause they didnt care about price.

Looks like video is doctored. First attempt 2nd gear hit just over 110kmh at 8500rpm. Second attempt it hit 124kmh at 8000+rpm, but using first gear! Unless they have variable final drive.....

Gearing looks very strange. In the first acceleration video, he FLIES through 3rd gear (compare to other gears) and only goes from 130 kmh to 150 kmh. How come 3rd gear is so short compare to all other gears? Very inconsistent too -- the max speeds in each gear is very different in the second acceleration video. Can someone else this to me? I'm confused.

@MumanHuman the display is an LCD so it can easily be screen captured using a laptop on board, or actually all they really need is the data from the onboard computer that can then be put into a laptop and then you can have the Speedometer emulator using the data retrieved from the car.

Toyota couldn't use Analog speedometer/tachometer because it wasn't sensitive enough due to the high reving engine.digital tachometer will detect the slitest change in the engine therefore it shakes like that

I really thought it was fantastic, as a decent car owner (Lotus Evora) I know enough to know that the way that needle is moving, the way the engine sings. . .thats truly a beautiful car. But a Lexus for 250k is too much for my blood. And the LFA control, I hope we see a Supra that will take the radical concepts of the LFA and bring it down to the 70k range where someone like me can touch it.

@oofheyt - No, it's not fake - the sound was recorded with a mic in the car and these clips were then included in the initial press release. We then used images from the initial promo video showing the LFA on track as a transition between each clip.  The purpose of this video was to focus on the 'one' aspect of the LFA that truly makes it a 'super' car. Most people seem to like it...
