Why would we build a train system when we have trolleys that drive around. Wouldn't it be cool if the city could work a deal out with the small business owning trolleys, rather than spend millions on something nobody will use. Come on... is any Tulsan gonna drop their car off in BA to take a 30 min train ride downtown?
as mayor, u will need to allocate the 700$million annual budget to "invest in a community".. thx for rply - sorry u don't see the trees wondering thru the forest.
what is the cost of paving 1 mile of expressway in Tulsa ?
i would have to see a case study that showed a previous example of a city (around the same size as Tulsa) that implemented this type of system. i am 100% against EVER-RAISING taxes to "invest in the community." we already pay to much. i am looking for areas to directly cut spending as much as possible.
Ive seen the Same problem here in Mn with the Light Rail Idea, im disappointed with our Gov. only they Extended the original plan from Big Lake MN to Minneapolis to St.Cloud to Minneapolis
i really do appreciate you. i need your help to pull this off and your encouragement means more than anything to me. thank you for supporting christ, the constitution and this campaign.
CLayvis! its joel bro checkin it from hawaii, bro you know way more about politics than i possibly ever will, but to your dilemma i would maybe say to continue as republican, and once in office then set the standard, be the role model. that way at least you can pursue and uphold the way things should be done as a republican. just like u set the standard for funk-a-delic dj's, set the standard for honest, open, and driven republicans. keep goin man, i wanna see u rock tulsa!

building a light rail system is pretty ridiculous.

have u considered the cost of maintaining/paving the BA Expsway ?
street repair seems to be a much talked abt issue in Tulsa = fewer cars lower costs ? while that rail runs right down the middle already !
or is an 'express' bus hourly from BA to BOK tower a shared cost opportunity for both communities ?
if people will ride a bus, they will pay for a 'faster' more comfortable ride on rail per Glen Beck.
