  • it is a very good tutorial for pointing out the importance of surface switching but i wish you had focused more on the actual technique of the 3 beat weave

  • hehe, im learning how to hoop, but already know how to poi, so this video makes me giggle x3

  • I remember watching this a year ago, here I am smiling because today I can master that and some, cause of this vid. (:

  • When you do the 2 rotations on the one side.....thumb in for 1, fingers in for the second,.....how do i then cross back over to my single??? Practising with one hoop- starting on my R side-crossing over to my L, thumb in, fingers in.....then do i have to do another thumb switch-fingers in on the R single rotation ?? * struggling after the 2 rotations on my L bringing it back to my right side rotation !!!!

  • @hooparama1 .. I'm having thing the same problem ?? are you spinning the hoop forward or backwards in the 2 rotations ??.. I'm still working on how to spin on my thumb too .. just worked it out today .. but im spinning the hoop backwards on the 2 rotation instead of forwards ..AnnA from New Zealand

  • Thank you for sharing

  • I'm getting so stuck on the timing of this move, just can't seem to have that AHA kind of moment. Blah, how frustrating!

  • @cork118

I'm right there with ya! Did you get it yet? I'll have a few on one day, and completely spazz out the next. I'm taking Malcolm's 'permission to flail' to a whole new level!

  • @syphonkiller

Yes. steve2bags has a tutorial on it, :)

  • I've decided to make my own hoops and just wondering what size your minis are? : )

  • I started with 27" and have gone down to 20" for moves like The Buzzsaw. Larger will be easier to start with because you won't have to move your hands so fast.

    Much love,
