just changed my belt real easy.but the gear shifter is all ways real hard to shift when running its a 2009 outlander 650 done 1500 mies.any help

Is that bolt that goes in the secondary mandatory?

@bushwackersftw Yes it is mandatory. Without it your secondary will not separate allowing the new belt to fit in place. You'll tear up your new belt without using the bolt.
