  • Let this be a message to teens and parents everywhere. We need to be aware about the consequences of sex and the bad decisions that are made from it. Sex is God's gift and we shouldn't overuse the privilege of it.

  • I was thinking... What if this happened to me? I have a pastor in the family and I have no idea how he would handle this kind of news if I lost my virginity at a young age and unwed... Just the thought if it makes me want to cry! But I think that this is a good lesson to teach younger people and parents... If everyone belived in this then there would probably be a considerably less amout of teen pregnancies in the US.

  • I'm not following. Having premarital sex = self-esteem issues and poor parental relationships?

  • @papagena552 Not only that, but sometimes yes. Of course, desire and attraction have a part, but many girls rationalize just like this one in the video. Us, fathers seldom realize how great a impact our presence and our absence have in our kids decisions.

  • That's depressing. It really shows what will happen if parents do not caution their kids about sex.

  • I used to always want my father to be proud of me. Everything I've done never seems to be enough for him. This conversation felt just like something he would do to me. Shutting me down, never letting me try to plan my life. Some days I feel like he just wants me to stay here, but other days he treats me like garbage, and I feel he wants me gone forever.

It takes everything I am to keep forgiving him for that pain he causes me.

God will not abandon you. Ask, and He will answer. Trust in God.

  • The only thing I've ever wanted from my dad is for him to tell me that I'm worth something. "You were never ordinary."

  • Powerful Message.. thank you Skits Guys... Thumps up.. God Bless =)

  • This is sad! We do Rue Love Waits at my church and I'm n the skit! The skits are hard to do because of being serious. God tells us in the Bible to wait to have sex till Marriage. my God is my Rock and my Savior and I believe this with all my heart. If you have any questions you can message me or the skit Guys.

  • Quality acting. And a great message. I think with purity we either learn the easy way or the hard way that it's best to wait. The Bible's morals are always best for us.

  • Wow, that's powerful stuff. You can feel the emotions welling up inside you.

  • You were never ordinary. Everything is ok now. Let's hold hands and sing Kum Ba Ya until little Junior gets here. This is NOT how it happens in REAL life.

  • Made me cry when he said "You were never ordinary"

  • She sounds just like one of my friends.

  • This conversation is just as important at age 23 and just as scary. I was 23, unwed, and pregnant. Now I'm 28 still single but abstinent. Waiting on the one who God has for me with only 1 child. Support from my family has helped me a lot. God Bless!

  • @eksmams06 I am 100% sure that God can provide in this area. He'll take what you are hoping for and surpass it.

  • However, we left the scene raw and unwrapped on purpose. If it was tied up with a nice clean bow, then the audience discourse to follow loses its momentum. We want pastors and parents alike to use this video to be able to talk about how real of an epidemic sexual immorality is among young people and how relationships, parenting, lives, and purity can be restored. Thanks again for supporting our ministry! God bless!

  • Thanks for all the great responses and discussion! This video is intended to start discussions about Godly parenting and imparting wisdom to teens who are faced with these kinds of issues every day. It was very important for the dad in this piece to feel distant and selfish... this kind of parenting can be one of many root causes for teen pregnancy, so we realized that his character needed to be flawed. We end this scene at the beginning of what we think is a great restoration for this family...

  • @parker5596 Brother, Jesus Christ forgives you. :) How great is the mercy of our God? You're in my prayers, and please remember that your family, your Church family, will be with you every step of the way. :) I love you, bro.

  • wow that was powerful stuff. parents need to talk to their children about stuff like this. i grew up without a dad, or even a very present mum so i learnt alot about love and sex from magazines and how that completely messes up how sex should be viewed from gods perspective.

  • I am thankful that God blessed me with a dad to talk about these things with me, it really does make a difference...due to the time my dad did take to talk to me about these things, I gladly made a commitment to God, myself, and my family to keep myself pure until I get married

  • Parental Advice 101.... 0.0...

    Good job SkitGuys!

  • I'm only 17, and I'm already thinking about how I can be an effective dad someday. This is definitely a must-do: listen to your kids. Everybody gets hurt if you don't

  • @UrukHai659 i'm the same age & a girl...from the guys i met, i lot of guys who are our age don't realize that...i hope & pray that Daddy God makes you into a wonderful father 1 day because you have such an awesome heart 2 be 1 :)

  • This video should be a huge eye-opener to daughters & fathers. All daughters NEED their fathers, no matter what stage. I really liked this video! Goes hand in hand with the movie I just saw two days ago ... COURAGEOUS. A must-watch to all families!

  • Everyone is saying this is confusing, but to me it seems pretty clear. in the beginning the father has obviously avoided talking to his daughter about sex, and she went out and got pregnant. If we do not not teach our young adults about those types of things, the world will, and it will all be flooishness

  • @TheRumpleFugly this was just a preview. The improv/drama troop at my church is performing this skit in which I am Emma. I'm not sure about this version of it, but the skit you can buy to perform from their website has more than this.

  • @oinkgu whoa. that must have been rough, but I thank God you're using your life as a testimony.

  • @TheRumpleFugly This was just a preview, I'd almost bet if you saw the whole thing it would leave you less confused.

  • after watching this does strike my heart. i am a boy and catholic and have decided to save myself for marriage. i have not done this for the church but because i don't wan to be a boy who just wants to have sex all the time. i believe that you can have sex when ever you want, but only if you truly love that person and not because you want to have fun.

  • I feel like they couldve done more. When it ended, I felt like more couldve been said to talk about this issue. Love these guys, just felt confused at the end.

  • @itsMinuteMaid it's called a skit

  • intense video

i almost couldn't see the like bar cause my eyes were filled with tears :)

  • This made me cry!

  • I find the stereotyping offensive; not every guy is interested in girls just for sex. And it's more the father's fault than it is the daughters, if he can't even talk to his daughter about the stuff that really matters; it's almost as if he's trying to push his daughter away when she needs him to open up! If it was intended for comedic effect, then it wasn't funny at all. And he clearly pushed her away in the past, which is what led her to turning to the wrong kind of guys in the first place.

  • @iLike2scream7 Nothing in this video was intended for comedic effect. The stereotyping was in there because that is how many fathers think. They want so badly to protect their child that they have a one track mind. It was meant to show the inability of the father to listen to his daughter.

  • @MRgotnolife It certainly is a growing problem, that pattern of thinking. Anyway, sex is such a taboo in modern Christianity, which is sad. It just hit a nerve with me, because I'm not one of those guys and I see friends of mine falling for that type.

  • @iLike2scream7 I would agree. It needs to be more of an open topic in youth groups and church. Ignorance has never solved anything. And I'm one of those guys too, so you're not alone ;)

  • @MRgotnolife Thanks for explaining the video to me better, because it didn't first register what they were trying to put across; that they actually agree with me! :)

  • Wow, 8 1/2 months ago I had this same conversation with my parents. Needless to say my hormones had me bawling during this video. It really gets you thinking.

  • wow. This was so touching and so amazing.

  • The father needs to realize is part in her bad choices....

He is the first man she knew.... Loving your daughter is just listening most often.

Embracing her everyday. Kissing her cheek, telling her how beautiful before some creep does... Give her roses so when a suitor comes knocking he has to do a lot to empress her.., then she will instinctually demand respect...

Fathers let's go.,, no home can rise higher than its women.

  • wow...i'm 14 guy and... i almost cried during this... i don't want to Ever put a girl through this, I'll admit that i was like every teenager wanting sex but... but something inside of me changed... now i realize that i will only do it with a girl for true love... and true love waits until marriage... i'm not like other guys...at 3:00 in i just wanted to hug her and hold her and tell her how God shaped her in his image... i actually care about people... and i will do whatever it takes to be pure

  • Wow, awesome! Finally Christians who talk about sex in a non-judgemental way!

  • They should do a sequel about the father talking to his daughter about the importance of purity and forgiveness after mistakes.

  • nice

  • Wow...If this ain't the TRUTH I don't know what is... Awesome how they incorporated each point of view into the skit...

  • she's a great actress! kudos

  • Was I the only one that guessed where this was going? Great video BTW :D

  • if you dont teach your kid about sex the world is more that willing to do it for you while they are still young. commercials and movies dont even attempt to censor these things anymore.

  • "You were NEVER ordinary." Best line! Let's not forget to teach our kids this!

  • Normally, I absolutely LOVE everything the Skit Guys put out, but...wow...the message of this is, I'm pretty sure, to communicate with your children and vice versa, but the dad was being a jerk the entire video and the daughter never even got an apology. And we never got a "correction" statement that pointed out the absurdity of blaming all sexual promiscuity on men. :/

  • @GothandJock They stated that it's a preview >_>

  • @Loyal2law That's stated for every video, as far as I remember, and I never noticed anything to actually be left out of the videos in the past. : )

  • @GothandJock Its a PREVIEW. :P

  • @GothandJock life doesnt always have happy endings, some parents dont know what to say and a lot of them mess up big time. This skit is exactly how life is for most families. No one is blaming all sexual promiscuity on men, the guy was never painted in a negative light. Notice that the father's character was close minded and ignorant, that in itself was the major part of the message and the fact of a lot of parenting strategies. No one is saying its right, its just reality.

  • This was really good :) Great actors and great skit!!!

  • powerful as always

  • Wow !great video. Thanks for doinh this(:

  • Wow, I am 19 and this makes me so glad I am waiting for marriage.

  • Great video.

  • Can you guys please pray for me, I'm also dealing with the same thing the girl is going through in this video but i don't know if the girl I had sex with is pregnant. I don't want a baby and I made a mistake. Please I ask that you'll pray and ask that the girl isn't pregnant. I'm only 15, and I'm not ready to be a father.

  • @parker5596 I'm not rubbing ur nose in it, i really do feel sorry for ur situation, but u should have decided that if ure too young to be a father then ure too young to have sex. We can pray for you but it is always best to go to God for yourself, the best prayers are those we do for ourselves by ourselves, we pray for strength for u to make the right decision in the future>

  • I'm crying. I'm a 17 year old boy. This was a slap to my face. I'm happy I'm pure and will stay pure till marriage.

  • @bondman00794 That isn't worth crying over. Some people have this over sexuality view of males. I didn't have sex until I was 27, and only then because I had found my loving wife. Just be careful, their are a lot of crazy girls out there too, and from the way it sounds your worth spending the time to find a good one.

  • @bondman00794 Aww! :D Proud of you!(:

  • @bondman00794 same here :) GBY

  • This literally had me in tears at the end...wish my dad had had the guts to talk to me about that stuff...

  • Wow, she's great!

  • Wow, that was... pretty dramatic. Kudos

  • Thank you for doing this.

  • @TheSolefull how do you think those teens should be learning about what is right and wrong? clearly you believe there is a good way to lead your life, particularly during teenage years - so who ought to be helping those kids learn about how to make good decisions as you suggest? is that not why parental responsibility and education are so important?

  • @TheSolefull It doesnt matter so much, who these teens are now, what matters is who they become. These lessons seem cliche to you because their wide spread, and sure, they may not work. But everyone needs mercy, and if no one tells them, then they cant be held responsible, they need to hear the message.

  • wow...speechless...

  • Loved it

  • wow.. so powerful. We need more courageous dads.

  • Wow, that's deep, it sliced through to my heart

  • im in the middle of the video...and im really mad at the dad...:\

  • this is a great and powerful video !! and just by watching this i just learned audio production by this video, that music can be as powerful, as words in a video. woow love u guys and keep up the great work !

  • This video was so beautiful!! It made me shed a tear for the actress! All in all your videos are just spectacular

  • Totally unexpected

  • I know this sounds weird...but this made me think how I really need to treat my daughter..when I have one. Close heart-felt parenting saves lives..

  • @Farrellfortoday Same reaction as I. I would totally be the "NO we will NOT discuss this" dad.. I'm that kind of brother at least :(

  • What's the song in the background?

  • subtitules in Spanish ¡Please! *_*

  • Very powerful message. You guys hit the nail on the head.

  • Love you guys! from Indiana!

  • You guys are the best. The comedy, the emotion, and the messages you have.. You guys are my favorite youtubers. :D

  • I dont understand the message though... =/

  • @GOSPELGAL09 teach and listen .. she didnt feel special nor appreciated and so went and found what society calls appreciation and ended up pregnant .. if her father had been there for her, taught her what she needed to know and listened when she needed him most she wouldnt be in that situation

  • Shout out from Puerto Rico ! you guys are an amazin blessin !
