  • Aussie or Kiwi...still the best commercial I have seen. Thanks for the laughs.

  • Um, why does this say Toyota ute? This isnt a Sport utility vehicle. this is a pick up. To bad Toyota still doest have a diesel Tundra option in America!

  • @Motorfordtoyota It is a work utility ,called a ute for short in New Zealand and

    Australia.

    Cheers

  • @wattie1057 Yeah, I get that, cause we call SUVs sport utes, so. In America that would be either a Tacoma, or a work truck. Well, actually, the larger cousin, the Tundra, would be a work truck. The Tacoma would be more of a fleet truck!

  • Bugger ^^,

  • bloody excellent ad boys

  • LOL. This is one of the best ads ever.

Any of you remember that Toyota Land Cruiser ad with the camel sticking it's head out the sunroof? If you know where to find it please let me know.

  • Hey Nuttyguy01, you need spellcheck!!! What the hell are you trying to say?? Use a dictionary- or ask your mother how to spell...

The Car 50% which is sold from the US is the japanese Car. The American Car which is sold from japan is few very and it dislikes.

    "Beggar = Cheap japanese Car"

( toyota, honda, nissan, suzuki, kawasaki ,yamaha, subaru, mitsubishi, hino, isuzu)

    "Rich = Germany Car"

"Rich Rich man = Italy Car"

  • Its not Australian... it a New Zealand ad!

  • It's Australian ad and was played far to much...but still makes me laugh!

  • It was a kiwi ad first. After its success over here they used it over there.

  • this isn't even bad

  • That is so ridiculously wrong. It was shot in auckland and written by Howard Greive, John Plimmer and John Fisher. All from Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington at the time. I was at the shoot if you want to dispute that...

  • thank u djaisbfsdgipgfbwefpp 4 saeng its a nz ad...it is and there aint guna b no fuckin aussie taking the original from us!!

  • thank u djaisbfsdgipgfbwefpp 4 saeng its a nz ad...it is and there aint guna b no fuckin aussie taking the original from us!!

  • lol cmon man getting a lil worked up over us Aussies using your ad to sell Japanese cars

  • and kiwis too

  • Nope. Most assuredly Kiwi, hence the New Zealand licence plates.

The actors were Australian, though, I understand. I seem to recall something about the director saying the only people he could find who could say "bugger" properly were Aussies.

  • god how long ago did this add come out.

  • it came out around 1999 or 2000

  • Still makes me laugh!

  • Oh bugger me.The kiwis make good ads.

  • Oh bugger! I haven't seen this ad since I was like six! Cheers! Great ad!

  • bugger!!

  • Great ad, it's been ages since I saw this.

  • it's been ages since I saw this .... ace !

  • lmao

  • I love how they leave what happened to the cow to the imagination.

  • awesome, haven't seen this in months! Thanks.

  • Hahaha love this ad!!! I saw another variant of this ad where some farmer wearing a shearers singlet is on the backyard dunny and when the Toyota goes past the dunny enclosure falls apart exposing him and he says "bugger" and gets up and the dog happens to be flying through the air from an earlier incident in the ad and lands in the dunny hehehe, bloody hilarious!!!

  • lmao the glorious bugger ad... they banned that in australia >.<

  • It was never banned in Australia.

Although in both Australia and NZ it was only aired after 8:30pm.

  • this could play at anytime in NZ. It went up before the censoring board (i forgot the name) and they said it was fine to use this word.

  • On a similar note, there was a different "Bugger" ad, and they did bleep that word during the daytime

  • that was a joke though, at least it was here in australia.
