Also I love the idea of an elite leader who rejects God a hell of a lot more than the idea of a Christian elite leader. For one thing all the policies will be for the benefit of human interest, there would be no discriminating and this species' knowledge and understanding of the world will continue to adapt and evolve with nothing left to hold us back.

And I don't base my template of Christians on that one man. Some atheists have done some bad things and some christians have done some bad things, both sides have done good things also. When you talk about these subjects it is not fair to take into account their faith as it has nothing really to do with it.

@CurlyDemon No, the core of atheism is that there is no human soul. Without a soul, you have no free will to decide anything. You are governed by the chemical deposits, neural pathways and electrical impulses in your brain and atheists say there is no soul to govern your actions.

Heisenberg's uncertainty principle is about the physical properties of particles and has nothing to do with free will.

Same with the concept of "god." if you ask somebody what is "god," you will get a mouthfull of different answers. It's basically a mouthful of mush and not everybody is going to agree on the same concept. Why? It's an abstract word that has no physical referent. Take the word "dog" for example. When you say "this is a dog," the word "dog" isn't the thing you are talking about, the nonverbal object is. You have no physical referent for the being of "god."

When you say what is "life" or there is "life," you are giving a word some sort of quality in of itself. "Life" isn't a stand alone entity. If you try to figure out the meaning or existence of "life," you will be chasing a phantom. It's just a word you are weilding in abstract notions. There are animals that HAVE life, however it only works logically given a frame of reference
