Is YouTube unable too produce video as it is uploaded? I was given a song by Jimi Hendrix in the early 70's and he said I could have the one of my choosing. He suggested all along the watchtower but left it open. I have always respected his gift and have never made that choice because I do not believe in creating a void, and feel that the buy the MP3 pop up should be enough for the designated owner which will die and then pass on the rights, my rights? They have programs called spiders which search the web for words that are associated with their copyrights.

The thing is that youtube does own the site, and they do have the right to do whatever they want with it, just like if you owned a bulletin board, you could take down any pieces of paper that were put on it, no matter how selective and unreasonable.

Anyone can make their own site with videos and advertise it with their own money, youtube doens't owe us anything.

youtube has an idiot-proof system. (1) people post anything, they don't monitor it. (2) if anyone complains about copyright, they take it down. (3) getting it back on takes application of thought by youtube. so, the advantage is that youtube doesn't screen you first (like revver does), but they overly censor once it is up and a complaint is received. enjoy your vids.
