  • Wow, amazing of the negative Simon Phillips posts here. Let's get this out of the way real quick. Keith Moon was brilliant. He did things on the drums that no one has done. With that being said, his 'superpowers' were short lived due to his life style, unfortunately. Make no mistake, Simon Phillips is a brilliant drummer! He is more of a technique drummer than Moon was, but they are two completely different drummers. There is no one 'best player ever'. Both these boys rocked! Keith & Simon rock!

  • GREAT vid ! Thanks for all of your hard work, I really do appreciate it. I'm so thankful for people like you who take time to do this for us all . I would be lost with out listening to all of my music, I love ALL kinds of music & this is an awesome video ! THANKS =)

  • Simon is easily one of the worlds greatest drummers, he just didn't fit in the who.

  • Simon's fill at the break is fuckin' sick!

  • delete all post moon videos.....?

  • @ggrtweu Yep! everything between Moon & Zak. Jones & Phillips just can't do Moon who without really really sucking!

  • Stupid simmon phillips forgot the floor tom beat through out the song and he screwed it up with his bad fills

  • @SH3L70N Spoken like a true amateur. Simon is a million times the drummer Moon could ever hope to be.

  • entwistle was incredible. i hate how back in the day the cameras would ignore certain people; entwistle, john paul jones, neil peart. this is a terrible version... sooo eighties. this drummer is so out of place, the brass is terrible and they are putting such little effort into the show.

  • THE '89 TOUR!!! man i love the poster 4 this one!!

    the who never fails!!!

  • Christ, this song and a brass section really don't mix AT ALL.

  • Yep.

  • Who's the bass player for this band - only one picture of him, but he sounds pretty good. Ya think?

  • That bass player was John Entwistle, the best bassist the world has ever seen. He died in 2002.

    Regards,

    (The) Korot

  • thunder fingers

  • Was Pete crying at the end?
