  • I'll tell u what, Lord Captain Jack got a right raw deal in this, what a good guy, he would have been awesome to see more of, feel for him! :(

  • is it me or did he just do a nun? If so, well I think he's a new hero for us all!

  • fookin Hagman.

Best brown paper and parafin oil fer fookin everything.

    LOL

  • I really feel sorry for Jack. Life handed him a bad hand when he got captured.

  • -I love you.

    - I wish I could say the same, lass

way to go, Sharpe, that'll really keep her talking!

  • @HogwartsCastle He's from the north leave him be! :D

  • 'Best brown paper and parafin oil' - brilliant!

  • I love Harris. :) And Sean Bean, of course.

  • @MegaBrinie your a fucking 6 year old arse hole who doesnt know anything on english history and trying to convert people now to your church of whatever only shows that theres you and only you LOOK keep your religion to your bloody self religion has killed more people than any war

  • i wish i could say the same

    just say the same!

    it's not that hard

  • Peter Jackson obviously took the look of the first 20 seconds and took it into lotr.

  • @pastrychef1985 I raise that to 6 minutes!!!!

  • He's so lucky to have friends like this. A holy one in the case of Harris. lol The man needs a new jacket! Could it be any more patched?

  • strange that harris found an edition of "candide" that corresponds exactly with the one he was looking for/ even a small difference in print or page sizes could result in different locations for words.

  • @spiderlime Yes, but there weren't many kinds of prints in that age.. and they were found close together..

  • @MegaBirnie I barely remember what I have uploaded years ago, but I can't help checking this particular page. You're so unique. I wonder what precious information do you possess to which we are all so desperately ignorant?

I also wonder, if you don't mind, what is your English accent?

  • @marquilla i dont have an english accent

  • "i have a cut" - hagman says best brown paper and parafin oil. " i have broken my leg" - hagman says best brown paper and parafin oil. "this man is dead" - hagman says best brown paper and parafin oil. hahahaha - brilliant

  • Argggg how could you not be in love with that???? Sharpe is really pissing me off right now. A smoking hottie loves him but instead he married and had child with a mediocre looking, small boobed guerilla.

  • thats one hot ass nun i wish i could marry her, shes the perfect woman, shes smokin hot, she will care for you and help heal you, she wants to get down and dirty and to top it all off she doesnt speak at all. God send me one like her please

  • 2:42 fucking UFO they existsss!!!

  • @andresrojas22 of course they do, brother. do you need a poo poo? daddy needs a poo poo

  • I love Hagman!!!!!

  • Sharpe is SO hot :)

  • @MegaBirnie

fucking nazi, there is no god

  • @jamiehorsey How do you know there is no god?

  • 2:41 WTF WAS THAT?!?

  • poor lass, fell in love with the wrong bloke

  • I like to think Sharpe is Bond's great great great grandfather. I like to think there is a Bond for every era. James Bond was protecting the world during World War 2 and the Cold War. Someone else did it in World War 1. Sherlock Holmes was the Bond of the Victorian Era, Sharpe the Bond of the Napoleonic Era, and other Bonds existed throughout the ages, right back to the first of Bond's ancestors, Robin Hood.

  • Wow at the revelation of El Matador. I never saw that coming. Hit me like a fucking train.

  • Wow that was harsh of Sharpe. I think after all she did for him, he could have at least humoured her.

  • @MegaBirnie wonder how you worked this much out lol

    this is actually 1812 ;)

  • @marquilla no its not, oh my god how stupid are you, everyone knows the videoes wernt made in 1812, its world war 2 in 1939 how else do you think they got this footage of the front lines,. and alot of credit has to go to the cameramen back then for risking there lives to make this,

  • @MegaBirnie this...is a really lame attempt at trolling.

  • @MegaBirnie Please don't breed.

    Tard.

  • @marquilla guns werent invented until ww2 u dafty

  • @MegaBirnie you're an idiot

  • @MegaBirnie .....Wow really?

  • @MegaBirnie

you re kidding, right? no one is that blind^^ ww2??? you DO know in what year we live now? ;)

  • @koppsr omg what are you on about, you obviously dont know anything about ww2 and neither did the people who made this, i mean there isnt even any nazis in it

  • @MegaBirnie THIS ISN T WW2!! got it now?? this is wayyyy before hitler was even a pale stripe at the horizon! this is between 18 and 1900!! ww2 was from 1938 to 1945!! what are you on? besides total loss of historical facts? if i were you, i would stop replying right now, makes you look less idiotic.

  • @koppsr omg, so your saying this is between 1800 and 1900, i dont think so, coz guns wernt even invented back then, did you even go to school?

  • @MegaBirnie

ok, this confirms, you ARE an idiot^^ a really big ONE^^++LOL ROFLMAO

i ll stop replying to your nonsense from now on, all that laughing starts to affect my heart* XDDDD

not only are you trying to teach somone from germany about ww2, you re also saying that guns weren t invented until ww2?? thats it, you re oficially my nonsense-spouting idiot of the year^^ please stay this way, i need a good laugh from time to time^^

  • @koppsr oh that explains it your german everyone knows that the germans covered up the fact that hitler stole a new technology from the crashed ufo at area 51 in america, and this is where guns came from, you should join your local church of scientology, and learn the real truth about human history as you are being taught lies

  • @MegaBirnie

    no comment...necessary!!^^ ROFLMAO

  • @koppsr i shall not mock you as you are a fellow fhetan, who has just lost there knowledge of your previous lives,

  • @MegaBirnie

    same comment, different day^^

  • @koppsr i believe i was wrong you are not a thetan, you are an agent of the evil one!

  • @MegaBirnie

    s.c., d.d. ^^

  • @koppsr u shall be spit roasted in hell for etenernity for your sins

  • @MegaBirnie Lol you win troll of the year, and provided me with a good laugh, I know noone is that stupid, So keep up the good work :D

  • @11Cheesewaffles i am not a troll, i am a human being, and why is you name 11cheesewaffles? is it because you are obese and eat 11cheesewaffles before every meal, join the church of scientology and we shall get rid of your cheesewaffle addiction

  • @MegaBirnie No Cheesewaffles shall be the new religion of the world, mutha fucka!

  • @MegaBirnie WW2?? LOL fail

  • @MegaBirnie 1813. Napoleon having abandoned an army in Egypt, now abandons another one in Russia and is back in France, hoping Soult and Ney will be able to push back pressures on all his borders.

  • @MegaBirnie The Napoleonic Wars, dear chap. Napoleon got a bit too big for his boots, so we British (English, Scottish and Irish, who still didn't like us much) got the proverbial cane out of the cupboard and gave him a damn good thrashing. Twice in fact, as we only put him in detention on Elba Island after the first thrashing, yet he got out and we had to thrash him some more.

  • @MegaBirnie is this a joke?

  • @MegaBirnie I'm guessing the 32 you've written on your profile isn't you age, but your IQ?

  • It's common medical knowledge that taking a nun to bed cures all infection

  • @grendeljack nnuns are the agents of the evil one! join the church of scientology, my fellow thetans

  • gott to try hagmans best brown paper and parafin oil sometime

  • really got to try hagmans best brown paper and vinegar hhehe

  • A classic example of leading by example and earning respect. Something that most people in authority don't know a damn thing about!

  • awsome love this one

  • Surely Sharpe didn't just shag her after he just recovered, did he?!

  • @djoakley2099 - Wouldn't really be surprising now would it?

  • I KNEW IT!!!!!! i knew it, i knew it, i knewit!!!! i knew Jack was the turncoat!!

  • To someone who knows alot about Sharpe. Anwser me this.... What happened to Rifleman Cooper?

Cos he was in Sharpe's Gold and can be seen walking away at the end but then he is not in Sharpe's Battle.

  • @friendofthejawas i know. what happened to Rifleman Isiah Tongue? he was in the first two, then disappeared. what happened to him?

  • @Isildun9 he doesn't die, he just stops appearing.

  • @CydonPrax2713 i think he gets captures/sent back to england.

  • If you were sending coded messages between two people, would it really be necessary to put either person's name on them?

  • I love the way that Harper looks at Harris while he's explaining the code:

"What the f*** is this guy yapping on about, look at that crazy bastard"

    :D

  • oh, that is so nice of him. he forged him a new 1796 heavy cavalry sabre

  • Sharpe, you sly devil. holy shit she spoke!

  • Only two of the chosen men left, the unit looks so small now! =(

  • she's called lass in the credits

  • Y'know? She's got a name, dammit!

  • but she can't tell him. Anyway, there's nothing pretty about the name "Cuthbert". What were her parents thinking?

  • Comment removed

  • lol no shells can kill a scotsman

  • i like sharpe at the begginning of this:grey his hair slightly and he looks like my grandad!

  • I love Sean Bean, but i find it hard to believe that after such an injury he could do anything with this girl although they do. But, what can i say it's Richard Sharpe he would be hard to pass up.

  • Richard.......I love you.... So sweet

  • It was sweet when Sharpe asks her to say something else after she said his name.

  • What was that black thing flying in the air at 3:11?

  • What black thing?

  • OMG> O.o it's gone!!!!!!!

  • "I wish I could say the same." Such a heartbreaker.

  • Well, all women love Sharpe!

  • in the book, sharpe was doing the french spy helena not some nun

  • That's more like it

  • I'm really disappointed about Jack, I was really liking him a lot! Even though he's a traitor, at least he's not all that bad..

  • in the book jack wasnt the spy, he was the guard of the spy. a woman called helena was. and sharpe got it on with her instead of this stupid nun person. loads dif in the book to this. like the french dude shot sharpe in the hospital not at the fort

  • I remember hagman talking about that paper stuff to sharpe in the first episode.

  • They actually used to use brown paper as a wound dressing. Brown paper in those days was very rough and it would soak up a medicine so you could put it onto a wound - vinegar or oil were commonly used.

  • isnt she supposed to be a nun?

  • No she was a novice i think, there is a time you have in the convent before your a nun. In that time you can leave if you feel that it is not your true calling.

  • no gal is safe around sharpe or should i say sharpe is not safe around any gal

  • Cooper is dead.

  • Please, not another girl!

  • are there 2 chosen man left???? were are the others?? only one has died, that young boy, but where's the rest?????

  • Other then Hagman, and Harris I think cooper is still around maybe... Tounge just disappears after the second ep. and Perkins dies.

  • Cooper doesn't ever seem to be around but it's Cooper who presented some Sharpe special show. I think they maybe just took him out of the picture because 4 were enough.

  • cooper disappears after sharpe's gold.

  • I don't know about Sharpe, but if a girl that beautiful told me she loved me, I would have no problem saying the same. Though, admittedly, he's probably still thinking about his dead wife.

  • Almost like the three kings and baby Jesus.

  • I like Harper.

  • And I mean that in a good way.

  • Sharpe's a fucking pimp.

  • has sharpe slept with the young novice yet? or is he just going to restrict to kissing?

  • He was probably too injured to actualy sleep with her. That stomach wound and everything, otherwise... ;)

  • how many women has sharpe got?

  • 6 chicks

  • Lots.

  • @sagilian too many :)

  • @sagilian one per episode hes like a napoleonic james bond

  • @sagilian I thinks hes only second to james bond

  • @sagilian obvciously bloody hundreds, talk about mr shagnasty

  • @sagilian how many seconds are there in a month

  • @sagilian in the books he only has on and that is theresa, but in the series on tv he has 7 i do believe, but only marries three of them, the rest were just lovers

  • sharpe's men realy do love him, giving him all that stuff to make him feel better. bit of a change from the first episode where they where going to kill him. lol

  • @duomaxwellheero Love it! great point!!

  • 2:00 Sharpe should have married her instead of that money grabbing whore Jane!!

  • @coolcraignvodka Give it a break, wouldnt you like to be sailing all around the peninsula shagging everything in sight

  • 4:29, Hagman is full of wisdom: ''best brown paper & paraffin oil'', legend!!

  • girl is such a cutie pie

  • have anyone ever tried brown paper and parafin oil? it really works, I tried it after watchings the first sharpe, although you dont need much parafin!

  • what does it do?

  • Should of sent Sir Henry simmerson in instead.

  • She looks like the girl in the exorcist in that bed.

  • Me too. Only time I've cried in a Sharpe movie.

  • What about when Perkins was mortally wounded, when he cried out his last words in the church surrounded by the chosen men?

  • Yeah that was pretty intense. I hadn't watched that one at the time of my last comment. Not actually sure if I cried real tears though - I'm a bit of a weird cryer in movies - things can't just be tragic, they have to be sort of bittersweet in order to induce tears, lol.

  • It's just so realistic. Amongst the most touching scenes in the movie history. It is probably a loud statement though

  • jack's confession to sharpe, broke my heart.
