Seriously "myboylollipop" you have no idea how great today is for the United States. Bill Clinton was able to use diplomacy over bullets and this situation very much has opened the door for future talks of peace and prosperity. They have brought no embarrassment or shame on our country by doing their job and trying to give a voice to women who had theirs taken away by being sold in prostitution and slave labor. Cheers to all that helped make this positive outcome a reality.

Laura Ling graduated from my high school (I remember her sister Lisa Ling - I believe Laura was a freshman when I was a senior). Euna Lee graduated from my art university (about one year after me). In cases like this it becomes an issue that is closer to home.

But you are right - some white guys do have asian fever. . .but also some of them have latino fever or african fever so who cares. Also, as far as I know both of the journalists are married so this is not about a romantic fantasy.
