Siomon's spirit lives on in guys like Louie and Todd Falcon, and to a lesser extent Mullen and Chris Haslam. Sonic's vid "One Louder" was the absolute shit back in the day.
Sonic and Girl did a demo here in Baton Rouge in '95, I was 16, I got to meet Simon and Rick Howard. Two of the coolest guys you could ever meet. I chat with Simon every now and then on myspace, he's still a very cool guy and he's doing something he loves.
Simon is an amazing guy. I knew him really well back in the days and he was funny as hell and full of life. He's still doing his thing. Not skating, but his life has a different meaning now.
Yeah, people always hate on the super hijinx ass skateboarders. History will always repeat itself actually idk just sayin if you did that stuff at a public skatepark youd get that kinda vibe
@Blackson187: I wouldn't worry too much about Jason Jessee putting Simon Woodstock down. I mean - Jessee's such a pseudo-artsy, pseudo-anarchist wiseguy, it's unbelievable how he managed to maintain this image throughout the years - just pick any interview he's ever given and you'll recognize instantly that he's really got nothing to say at all. If he had just one percent of Woodstock's genius and originality, he wouldn't have to pretend to be interesting so hard.
He was shredding in that footage. If you watch "The man who souled the world", it tells what happened. I always wondered until I saw that. He was rad.

Don't know why the guys were so down on him, dude was fucking shredding. The stuff he was doing 15 years ago is still very impressive today.

He was cool as fuck, he just didn't go big because the fags back then wanted all hand rails. He oculd have done them for sure.
