I am starting to think that people who put up these videos involving one truly great guitarist versus Slash are just trying to provoke people. Everywhere I look it's "Yngwie v Slash" or "Vai v Slash" or "Gilbert v Slash" or "EVH v Slash".

Its still awesome but nothing is better than the originater. heres an analogy would you rather hear the beatles or oasis?
malmsteen doesn't switch it up very much. pretty sterile, even if he did revolutionize guitar playing. slash switches it up a lot and doesn't get enough credit for what he does. malmsteen gets too much credit for what he does. despite this, i would probably end up voting for malmsteen if i were forced to choose.

malmsteen doesn't switch it up very much. pretty sterile, even if he did revolutionize guitar playing. slash switches it up a lot and doesn't get enough credit for what he does. malmsteen gets too much credit for what he does. despite this, i would probably end up voting for malmsteen if i were forced to choose.

@brusnroses eso que tu dices de slash es sobrevalorar a un guitarrista, cualquier otro guitarrista puede haber compuesto lo mismo (o incluso mejor) que lo que slash haya hecho, y que sea reconocido la verdad no importa mucho, y lo otro es que si ponen a yngwie en una improvisacion en vivo igual seria mejor que slash sentado grabando una clinica o lo que sea, repeto tu opinion pero yo creo que esta completamente erronea :)

muy bn... veamos. yngwie esta cabron en cuanto a velocidad lo admito...pero la verdad es que slash tiene mas estilo y sentimiento que yngwie y ademas...me lo cran o no los solos de slash son mas laboriosos que los de yngwie.......llevo 18 años tocando la guitarra...soy un profesional y la verdad yngwie solo toca rapido las cuerdas que puede en cambio slash en un poco mas tecnico en otros aspectos.. pero bueno.. ,mi voto va para slash

@TheMrLuisC viste el solo en argentina el que hizo hacee poco....por que ese es el bueno y ahy no vi escalas pentatonicas vi riffs muy diferentes a los que acostumbra y slash no usa tanto las pentatonicas ultimamente pero de todas maneras para mi slash sigue siendo slash....y toma en cuenta que el estilo de slash es unico. para mi por lo que vence a malmsteen es en que tiene mas sentimiento y es mas creativo y no la verdad los buenos guitarristas se dan porla creatividad y no velocidad .
