  • ahh the first punk single ever XD

  • The problem is you can't MAKE these kinda people anymore. It's the same with the original hippies, you can't recreate what MADE them. You rarely find any TRUE old souls out there (I happen to be one so if anyone cares to join me), you just seem to be faced with so many young people who like the old stuff but remain very much a product of NOW.

  • On Stiff...The Shape Of Things That Come...(talking of which, this vid etc)

  • the people who say what punk is or isnt are the very people who forgot what life is.......punk is the little guy who woke up in a tiny town in the middle of no where one day and thought im bored with all this trendy same old shit and i say fuck you!!..may get a betting but fuck you!!...good luck to them !!

  • '76-'77-'78...ALL A BLUR... BUT I THINK ALBUM RELEASED IN '76...IT WAS '77 OR '78 WHEN I SAW THEM AT MAB IN S.F....NO MATTER TIMELESS MUSIC FROM THE OTHER WAVE...

NO NEIL YOUNG HERE BOYS.....SCARY HUH?FLAT OUT ROCKERS..VANIAN WAS TOO COOL.....WAS NOT AS KEEN ON LATER DAMNED RELEASES, BUT THEIR PRINT IS CAST.....AND LOUD!!!!!

  • SAW THE DAMNED IN S.F. AT MABUHAY GARDENS....ON BROADWAY....LOUD ..FLAT OUT LIVING UP TO THEIR PROCEEDING BRITISH REP. BEFORE THEY CAME...ONE OF LOUDEST I EVER SAW....BLEW THE PLACE APART........SO LUCKY TO SEE CRIME OF S.F.'S WEST COAST AS OPENING ACT AND THEY DONT OPEN FOR MANY...GREAT SHOW

  • guys, fellow punks XD, is it true that this was the first punk song ever released second to white riot by the clash?

  • this is 1980

  • @chrisdavid4026 No it's not, this is 77-78

  • oh wow this is the 7 ages of rock theme song

  • no way this is '76, it looks like it's from the 80's.

  • @GreasyBalls418 then you know nothing about punk history... FAIL

  • rippin'

  • Bob on this

  • IS SHE REALLY GOING OUT WITH HIM??

  • just try and cover this! i gotta go or it'll be to late

  • It looks real.

  • a little slower here :a

    I like it

  • No digital crap, nobody pissing around with Cubase, we will never see this art from again,

You have to feel sorry for young bedroom twiddlers nowadays with their brand new les pauls their mummies bought them, what chance have they got, Itunes killed everything that was UNCONVENTIONAL stone dead.

  • The world has changed a lot in 35 years....

Quality tune, but will not get bands like this again until the end of the next tories parliament.

  • @VyktorAbyss It's not Tories in charge, it's the Coalition ;)

  • If younger new bands were like this the world would be a better place.

  • apparently justin bieber is doing a cover of this as his next single

  • One of the greatest songs of all time simple as that. The Damned are still playing, making great records. Who said nothing good came from Croydon.

  • YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH ! I love the energy of this song ! Dave Vanian is my Vampire !

  • DAAAAAAAAAMNEEEEE...EEEEEEED

  • ニューローズはDAMNEDのサウンドの中でも最高です!今聞いても血湧き肉躍る感じです!

  • Esta es la banda sonora de 7 Ages of Rock!

  • I just started listening to punk old stuff is better like this

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMNED DAMNED DAMNED YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • 76-77 was the best time to be a teenager :-)

  • i hate that modern punk is just pop music, but people with birghtly coloured hair. this is real punk rock!

  • @katjoan1 but that is not punk, that is "indie" ..

(manufactured music for kids=indie) nb.not independent label.

  • @MegaDRjohn bullshit

  • @katjoan1 so you think indie is independent and not manufactured crap ?

  • @MegaDRjohn i do think indie is manufactured crap

  • @MegaDRjohn the "new punk" is doesnt indie

  • @newfighter20 WTF, are you trying to say ?

  • @katjoan1 There are still good punk bands..remember that punk developed from many strains of late 60's and early 70's rock..and was actually quite varied before 1977. That punk today is influenced by reggea and ska shouldnt put people off. Rancid is a good band. Its a shame that punk developed into a generic brand that had to be fast, have no more than two chord progressions and the lyrics had to be screamed. It was hijacked really and was nearly choked to death by its own narrow limitations.

  • @katjoan1 i'm just agree with you

  • @katjoan1 thats just on the main stream allot of the new underground punk bands are trying to play so heavy theirs no felling, Like there trying to make heavy metal but still suck because good metal has feeling to.

  • this is one of my favorite songs in the history of favorite songs

  • Great band, great song. What more can you say?

  • genial

  • The first.. and the best..

It bent heavy rock into new punky shapes!

  • i love the dammed sooooo much!!!
