yeah but in some places, it doesn't matter if guns are available or not, if a person wants a gun, they WILL get one. You can never get rid of the threat of weapons. People will always obtain them or create them for various reasons ranging from killing people to defending themselves against that threat. It all depends on the area. Example: I live in a small country town. EVERY body has a firearm of some kind. Everyone. But there has only been like 1 firearm related incident.

How does gun control reduce criminal activity? Even if it worked for reducing crime and violence (which it does not; when it's a crime to own guns, only criminals own them) it would be a fatally bad bargain.
Would you prefer to be confronted by a criminal while being armed or unarmed? I defy you to put a bumper sticker on your car that says "The occupant of this vehicle is unarmed" if that would make you feel safer.

Firstly, I do not live in the US, however I am jealous of the US Constitutional stance on gun ownership. Secondly, do you realise Singapore does not even have the population of the US state of Ohio, much less the entire nation. Not exactly a vaild comparison, sir.
Moreover, the amount of gun related violence in the US is comparable to Singapore's level. Thailand, for expample, even has a dramatically higher level or gun-related violence than both the US and Singapore combined.

When you own private property, you have (or should have) the authority to make a determination as to control littering or parking on your property. If you want to outlaw these things or outlaw people who do these things, that is your perrogative as the owner of said property. There are similar determinations for public/government property
