  • yea jus use ibooks. no need to do all this. have the pdf file on ur computer and jus drag to itunes. and then to your iphone

  • just use ibooks, and u can find pdf files of books online

  • LOL convert pdf to epub, then back to pdf.

Try it. (use iBooks, I prefer Goodreader)

  • But you can't read large PDF files (58.6MB or more with color) like a magazine.

Also it crash on other app and even iBooks can't read...my compter read just fine (same file).

  • Hey wake up guy ! iBook Read, range : ebook and PDF. Very simple and it's the best.

  • OR JUST PUT THEM INTO DROP BOX AND UPLOAD THEM ONTO YOUR PHONE ON THE APP.

  • 1.10, So they delete it after a few days? can you change this or??

  • Microsoft is the best, in my opinion... that's all...

  • Will this work with the i pod touch?

And is there a limit on file size?

  • send things to your email highlight it from your ipod and you get the option to open it on stanza, thats all you to do

  • This is pure BS

  • I did all the instructions and the pdb file is not readable on Stanza or eReader.

  • x for the video .. i use your method but i read my pdf with the free pdf ios library fastpdfkit .. it's very easy to use and really complete.

  • do you need to have an internet access to do this?

  • I don't see the problem? On my iPhone i can do all the stuff on ibooks that you do on this program

  • cool video

  • Thank you OMER

  • @TunaInACanMan

    It's Omar dude

  • The Stanza.fictionwise website closed down due to low traffic...

  • Dude, I just downloaded the app "iBooks", you don't even need to do that but it's easier to find the pdf file when you want to read again. Just e-mail the pdf-file to yourself and open it in your iphone, in safari. From there you can add it to your library in the app "iBooks" OR just read it from the mail.

    Hey, that must be easier.

  • @Snabeltupp1 yeah. this was a little older before iBooks. It was so complicated. Now you can put a PDF onto iBook for iphone 3gs and up

  • @Snabeltupp1 hey you are right. or even easier if you already have iBooks, go on itunes and connect your iPhone 4 and drag the PDF file onto it and it will sync it to your iBooks. idk why these people to go through so much trouble to do something so easy lol

  • @Snabeltupp1 that helped me more than this video

  • Hi guys,

just use ultrabookworm.co.cc to search and download pdf and ebook files

    Thanks for the video anyway!

  • hi guys,

just use ultrabookworm.co.cc to search and download pdf and ebook files

    Thanks for the video anyway

  • hi guys,

just use ultrabookworm.co.cc to search and download pdf and ebook files

  • what if I can't open on my iphone " fictionwise bookshelf" because it says that "it could put my confidential information in risc" ? What do I do now?

  • actually, we don't need the website, because we can add the files via itunes, on the stanza app.

    Youpiii, it works.

  • Another good site is 2ePub.com, and another good app for this (probably a superior app for this, is Kobo. Good video though

  • Does this also work for Ipod Touch 4g?

  • @dragonwing4 Yes of course it does. And instead of asking stupid questions like whether or not it does, why don't you just try it?

  • @domokeats09 Im really sorry. I did not know that it was a stupid question... especially since i have never owned an iDevice before. Let alone use itunes etc.

  • heyyy the site is closed down now what do i do??????????? it says its closed down due to low traffic

  • @philywily123456 Man!! If that site is closed then it wouldnt work anymore. I think this tutorial drove too much traffic maybe it was unexpected. I'll look into this

  • Low traffic means only this : They closed the site because people started to convert pdf copyrighting books downloaded illegally via torrent to read them on their iphone unstead of buying them from the appstore.

Well, the copyrights books will still be read on the iphone but not like a real book does, so no automatic font adjustement on the iphone screen like stanza does.

which is really really bad for me. Because my eyes will not get comfortable with no automatic font and text adjustement...

  • fictionwise is not available anymore... what now?

  • @dumitruczah Wow. Try using the direct link to the FictionWise registration page from the description. If FictionWise closes down then this tutorial will become obsolete. I posted an UPDATE in the description.

  • @dreamartistfilms when i upload the file i see on the wbsite on my computer but not on my iphone. and then i refreshed my computer webpage and the file was gone...what do i do

  • Weird. I thought iphone 4 came with ibook. Ibook does pdf now at least for the ipad...

  • just got my iphone 4 and wanted to put my Bro Code.pdf to take it everywhere i go, and bum! u made it happen dude! THANKS! UR AWESOME

  • yo bra so you change .pdf to .pdb and all ebook readers identify the file as an ebook right?

  • @farestabs You can't simply change ANY pdf to pdb. It only work if you've first converted the PDF using the converter at Epub2Go.com

  • Yes, this is the way if you have 1st gen 2nd gen iphone.

If you have the iphone 3gs or 4 you can download OS4 and then get the iBook app which can read PDF files.

  • Thanks for the info. But is this really the simplest process possible?? It just seems there HAS to be a better way!

Then again, I'm new to the iPhone. What do I know?

  • @TroyOi Tell me about it! I tried looking for every way possible. It came to this unless iBook for iphone 4 works with PDF's. I know it does for the iPad now.

  • Thank you so much, you're a life saver ^^.

  • hey nice vid just wanted to add that .. instead of going to the epub sit u can download Calibre and just upload to your fiction wise site if u choose not to use the online conversion ...

  • Oh men you are really really great!!

    thank you

  • thank you for the tip! it worked perfectly!

  • Man your a don!!!!

    Thanks

  • @miniseeds Thanks. Enjoy!

  • Wow, thanks for this guy. I love Stanza, and now I can DL my own books.

  • Okay new problem. On Stanza, when I try to download the book it says "Failed to download and import... Unknown file format" it is a .pdb format. Whats going on?

  • I forgot to mention that when it's in Stanza, you'll also be able annotate it for yourself, facebook, twitter and email parts of it out to others.

  • Awesome! Thanks!!

  • @damianjay24 So glad you enjoyed this. It took me so long to figure out :) I think it should work for iphone 4 and the ipad.

  • @dreamartistfilms

I need help with something. So I uploaded a book onto the "Personal Content for iPhone and iTouch" and what not. It doesnt show in my Bookshelf. What do i do now?

  • @damianjay24 Really? I've never seen this before. Let's go offline and debug. Did you change to PDB and did you log into the same account at fictionwise. Send me your email and email this pdf so I can test it out.

  • @dreamartistfilms

Nevermind I figured it out! I was trying to log into the "BooksonBoard" page on the Stanza app instead of the Fictionwise one. Thank you!! =] Once again, awesome!

  • @damianjay24 Great!
