  • Very Paula Abdul.

  • @RespectThe80s Paula Abdul is very Cherrell since she came out in the 90's

  • @yousexymf This song and Paula's debut album came out the same year. They were probably both influenced by the same people and the trends of the time.

  • @RespectThe80s If Paula Abdul or, say, Jennifer Lopez had Cherrelle's pipes? That would be like giving Whitney Houston J. Lo or Janet Jackson's ability to move on stage. That would be just unfair.

  • immortal

  • She looks sexy in this video.

  • like the song very much...love the old skool dancing

  • This sure does bring back some memories.

  • This song kicks! I still feel like getting up jamming...... that dude with the trench coat and read bandanna on his head is jammin! And they are working that Roger Rabbit....

  • Checkin' out the way Cherrelle moves and checkin out her sex appeal... I can tell she would have made me a very happy man if I were lucky enough to have hooked up with her back then. I wonder If she and Alexander are still together? lucky bastard.LOL!

  • It's always the same reaction whenever I play this song...it's hard to stop hitting the replay button.

  • It gets serious at 2:18. Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

  • go lady

  • Ok this ISH is rockin. Cherelle deserves big time props.

  • Thz reminds me of Miquel song Quickie-he ideal seems it was inspired from Cherelle

  • This sounds a lot like a Janet Jackson song from her Control era....

  • I still had her album on cassette to this day when I was 7 yrs old. Loved her album ever since. Sucha big fan of hers :). Brings back memories...

  • She can still sing for me anytime. I don't buy any albums today, nothing but the ones from 1982-1994

  • Played this and aint nothing going on but the rent on repeat

  • wtf is she doing at 1:27 , biy she was no janet..he stage presence at dancing was sad

  • ok..this video clearly tells you how she couldn't be "janet".. she's not a dancer/performer. she's a singer. They all had 'thin' voices, but the motivation in each one's sound was about what they present in the total package. Cherrelle--definitely better singer. High Priority is a great album start to finish!

  • @djtenn she let her record label control her. Like they felt she couldn't do w/o Jimmy Jam and Terry and that's the other difference between Janet and Cherelle Janet took risk such as making the Rhythm Nation album which many people told her she couldn't and I think Cherelle would have been okay working with others, Janet also produced her music too b/c they learn how to at like 14 i think but you are right about the difference between the voices and dance but they're both GREAT in my book

  • I forgot just how much I used to like this song!!! Now I can't stop singin' it!

  • LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!

  • I miss those good ole days lol

  • u can get your dance on with this song

  • I agree she was completely underrated and not given her just do.

  • I felt Cherelle was such an underrated R&B/Pop artist at that time but Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis gave her a hit song with this one.
