I have a question? what commands you have equipped in? I have:

BRA ATTACKS:

Ground: O = Jecht Rush; O+Down = Jecht Block.

Air: O = Jecht Stream; O+Down = Jecht Block.

HP ATTACKS:

Ground: [ ] = Ultimate Jecht Shoot; [ ]+Down = Jecht Blade.

Air: [ ] = Jecht Blade; [ ]+Down = Triumphant Grasp.

PD: "[ ]" is square. Please help me, thanks.

@19Aquario91 Brv attacks i have the same commands, but for hp:

Ground: [ ] =Jecht Beam, [ ]+Down=Ultimate Jecht Shot, [ ]+Up=Jecht Shot (in Dissidia 012)

Air: [ ]=Jecht Beam (in Dissidia 012), [ ]+Down=Triumphant Grasp, [ ]+Up=Jecht Blade

Dissidia 012 is the 2nd Dissidia game

when i do the frist combo u show us he kicks him in the air instead of throwing him up, and for the third combo he does it but wen i prees box ntn happens and then the lst areial one O O O and i press box but ntn i need help i did it like twice by mistake in ex mode

I wish the combo would automatically do the correct HP attack when you press square. With timing as precisely needed as Jecht's combos, just that one direction can mess me up. I did manage to hit somebody with a Triumphant Grasp in a combo that should have ended in Jecht Blade though.

Say ur doing the first combo, the ground combo with jecht shot, what if ur jecht shot is set to forward and square instead of just square? when you do the combo will you have to press forward and square, can you press square by itself and he will do jecht shot or does jecht shot have to set to just normal square for it to work?

There's a distinct sound that indicates when to press square. For UJS, press square RIGHT AFTER you hear a third "slash" sound from Jecht's sword.

For TG, press square on the exact moment Jecht slams his sword into the guy THE SECOND TIME.

For Jecht blade, it is similar to UJS, Jecht makes three "slash"sounds when he is kicking the guy, press square RIGHT AFTER that.

just a tip, when you try to learn this, take it easy and over-do: when you fail a combo like 20-30 times in a row it means you are too cocky to time the button mashing, but it is fairly easy if you relax and focus ;)...oh and btw, it is possible to use Jecht blade in the ground O O UPO combo... i tried 3 times and always succeded, so it can work!

Question:

With the first combo, do you need to have Ultimate Jecht Shot assigned to square?

When I have Jecht Blade assigned there that is the attack that happens, when I switch it to Ultimate Jecht Shot it works. Perhaps my timing is just bad?

Jecht is practically the craziest character in the game only if you know his combos and time his Jecht Block correctly. Thanks for the guide by the way. (Still having difficulties using his combo(s) -.-)

Ive mastered this one, also use the jecht block to your advantage, it can block some HP attacks like Bravery or Rough Divide and all attack that will come only in front of him.

The trickiest one in my opinion is the Ult. Jecht Shot combo. It took a while for be to master, but it very well worth it considering it is his most powerful combo.

That and the hilarity of chucking a meteor at your opponent is always awesome.

Yup. Only Bravery attacks have that cue. Use the sound or number of hits as cues for hp attacks.

Pay attention closely to the slow motion replays. I mention when exactly to hit the next button. Also, listen to the sound. For example, at 0:33, Jecht throws his sword up, and you can clearly hear 3 slashes. Right after you hear the 3rd slash, hit your hp attack.

no, instead the direction you tilt the analog stick changes the attack, for example: there is a [ ] attack, a (down) [ ] attack, and a ^ [ ] attack. It my seem a little confusing at first, but in practice it plays out VERY well.
