Actually this plane is on the level of an uprgaded Mig 21. Stuff BVR and better Avionics into a Mig 21 and you get this airplane. And I don't see how this plane has sufficient stealth-characteristics.

China has been salivating over Siberia for centuries, but in a way you are right Russia does have a significant technological edge so a direct conflict is not likely to happen.Last time I checked India and China were on the same continent and India has enough nukes with 5000km range to significantly reduce chinas population so again conflict is not likely to happen(let's not forget who is India's primary weapon supplier)

You know, almost EVERY TIME when you guys fly a reconnaissance aircraft over PLAAF bases, you guy were shot down by a SINGLE J-8 interceptor, by the SAME PILOT (Wang Wei). (The Chinese J-8 could go at Mach 2.5, too)

And the J-11B is the same as the F-15.

Wang Wei didn't shoot down American reconnaissance aircraft. His J-8 crashed into an American EP-3E. The EP-3E crash landed with all the crew still alive. As for Wang Wei, he died in the incident. It was an unfortunate event and the CCP even delivered a letter to the US saying sorry because the EP-3E actually didn't violate Chinese air space. It was just human error the Chinese military made.
