this is a rock at 48 feet , i looked at the vid you had up and the vis up there is real nice in my vid the vis is as good as it gets along the malibu coast line , its in the Santa Monica bay which is a big sand desert , these rocks pop up in the middle of the dessert, lots of sea life . its in a no comerical zone

i am a spearfisher in portugal, and every year it is more dificult for us to spearfish becouse many people want to forbit us the under water hunting becouse they think it is so easy for us tho kill a fish. and it isnt for no reason that it is forbidden to hunt whith scuba gear in the hole europe and in many outher countries

Portugal , cool , most of us kill fish for our own personal consumption, comericial fishing and only comericial is what has hurt the fish population. more corperate greed ! it is sad and its not because of people with scuba , its long liners with 300 hooks and netters with 2 miles of nets scooping up everything moving, anyway get much better footage with tank on . look me up if you ever come to California, I take you hunting any way you like! water temp 53 f to 74 season to season

i know all this. i,m studiyng marine biology and i gona do my master about the influence on the ecosystems of the professional fishery. but it´s a fact that scuba divers can fish much more and with out difficulty than apnoe divers. only here in tha Algarve where i live there are many people who made much money only whith scuba diving (yes it is forbidden, but they go anyway) and at this moment the grouper almost wanisht until -30m becouse of those guys.

yes i understand this , here the giant groupers went almost extinct and our system has put quantities sizes and seasons on certain fish and it is working well . though the groupers remain forbidden, and yes the problem has been having people to enforce the law , they are never there! it works on honest people ,but there are always people who dont care ! stay tuned , good luck what kind of fish in Port. and whats the water temp ?

at the Continental water temp in winter is around 12-15 ºC and summer whe have got between 18 to 24ºC. whe have got snaper, a few mulloway, and some other kinds but i dont know the english names. give me your mail and i send you some photos of some fishes

ok, you are right. i should´t said the things like i said. and i apologize. but my problem is that many people will see you videos and many people,m when they hear "spearfishing" they think about scuba divers, killing the fish like you in your video. there is no dificulty about it to go with air until 20 ore more meters and kill some fish..

lool, hey grany, i do spearfishing since some years and i´m also do competiton. i know very well what spearfishing is. and i also know that in almost every developed countries it is forbidden to do spearfishing with air!!! there is no merit when you kill any kind of fish when you dive with air!

what a joke , if u want Merit for killing something join the army, killing fish is easy peroid as u can see in all the videos, mostly warm water ,surface fish ,easy easy easy ..... like i said i do both and i just started this posting , stay tuned , the good stuff will be coming or hey come on out to Cali and i will take you diving ! any way i like to remain underwater as do my hunting! i hunt to eat .FYI in America it is perfectly legal to spearfish with scuba gear
