This was 75% a Spike montage and 25% was combo-ing.

I'm not saying Brawl is a bad game. it just that Melee>Brawl, and anyone that disagrees must have started playing Smash at Brawl.

@sofunnyaaa I was not talking about Brawl+, i was talking about Brawl. Makes me wonder why must fans have to alter the game themselves to make it playable? And, although Brawl+ is a step from Brawl, its a joke. I'm sure who ever re-coded the game took the time to balance the game out as much as possible, but its just a game where characters play like they are in melee, but move like they're in Brawl. Brawl's speed, stage ratio and floaty-ness are still present.

@RockieOllie Our smash salvation is Project: M , the upcoming brawl mod that is Melee's true successor. It has the exact weighty physics, landing detection, and speedy gameplay from Melee but rebalances the old low and mid-tier meleers, some with new moves like DK's roll dash. The brawl cast is fun as hell to play as now too! Check it out when it drops and some newer youtube match videos from tournaments that it has been seeing the rounds at.

Sakurai already said he's gonna put a better emphasis on balance in SSB4 so you guys need to relax and be patient. I'm not saying that this "Project M" will be booty, im just saying i would rather play a legit version of smash than a mod that most likely only a handful of people will have

@RockieOllie The BIG problem with your reasoning Ollie is that Sakurai is incapable of delivering an even "good" smash game with his current anti-competitive attitude. He purposefully gutted the Melee engine of all its nuanced depth in order to create the "everybody wins!" campy party game with moon physics known as brawl. The next game will be just as bad guaranteed, combos are gone. If you truly love Melee-style smash, it's Project: M or bust. P:M already has a large following of smahers too!

Most are not combos, but yes they are some. But they are too short and lame (I'm not trying to offend any brawl player, I play brawl too) sadly but it's the truth.

Brawl is about finding a good oportunity to attack thats all, if the other player makes a mistake you must use that time to attack. So I recomend you to have a more defensive playstyle because agressive playing is just going to make you do lot's of mistakes.

I love Meteor Smashing Pits. They recover from fuckin' everything cuz they fly, but when you pound them down to hell they can't do anything about it. I'm a Ness main, and I make constant use of his Meteor Smash. :p

you've got some pretty nice combos in there :) sucks that brawl doesn't allow that too much. and not to sound like a douche, but a lot of those shouldn't be considered as "combos." yeah you hit them before they hit you but that doesn't make a combo. they had the opportunity to hit you and failed, letting you hit them again.

but tons of these scenes showed great, legit combos.

I have some combos of my own in Brawl but these prove that you can have some serious creativeness with how little of a moveset you have to work with. But I guess it makes it all the more easier but to most even more difficult.
