@supaphreak2045 there is nothing you can do when you are on a hill on ice. zero. the traction just is not there. especially when you aren't allowed to have spiked tires. I live in MA, and drive a RWD old mercedes diesel. Never have problems. And yes you do need to drive slow on ice, but the only way to survive going down the steep icy hill, is to wait till it's not icy. And i spend a decent amount of time in the second hillest city in the united states.

When it snowed here, me and some friends went to an empty parking lot to drift around in the snow, but of course on the way out I slid into the curb. scared the shit out of me, I was worried I bent the wheels in but it was nothing in the end.
