Believe it or not,Stanley played at my wedding 30 years ago with his trio. We asked him to play Hava Nagila and he played it, very beautiful, and then it was on his touch sensitive album. My little footnote in music history. I also took lessons with him, he'd sit down with me for 3 hours. He was at Princeton University at the time, friends introduced me to him, we locals used to play pool in the summer in the place he lived on campus. Absolutely the smartest man I ever met in my life.

My girl and i got to see him at the Vancouver Wine and Jazz Fest in August and the man was Amazing! My lady was so impressed and amazed that we went out and bought most of his music that we could find! He even signed our program since his CD"S got lost on the airlines flight to Portland! Great man and Very humble to say the least! Thank you Stanley! Your are the MAN!
