In the end his biggest mistake was revealing without about 5 people left that he was in fact a multimillionaire. It allowed Jaisson to then go tell the jury bitches, who then voted for Natalie. I still can't figure out why he told that, but I suspect it was to guarantee himself a spot in the finals (ie. they will keep ME (RH) around if they feel the jury won't vote for a millionaire. He must've felt toward the end like he was going home early.

As for the jury, they have no obligation to put aside anything. They're entitled to vote however way they please. After all, they're not on trial, the finalists are.

@jpad319 they were using him to get to the end, only reason they made it that far was cuz of russell... in the final 5 he was tight with natalie and made alliance with brett, so they weren't using him he was using them he can get rid of anyone he pleases, and the jury was bitter

@SuperSkuxxDeluxx If you're dealing a blowhard who wants to align with you, you're best moves are to be the least threatening person, let him act like an ass and exploit the biggest blind spot in social bonds.

And like I said, the jury is entitled to vote ANY WAY THEY WANT without consequence. If it ain't in the Survivor handbook that they should vote this way as opposed to that, then it's all fair game.

And LOL at your analogy. With boxing, you just need to beat up your opponent. With Survivor, you have to beat everyone yet still leave a good impression on them so that they themselves give you the win.

and i watch boxing man, you have to give an impression to the judges that's the hole point !! to leave an impression to the judges that you beat that person...

Becky truly didn't do anything, while Natalie convinced a majority to gun down one of their own in a pleasant manner. Russell is just plain clueless and arrogant.

The difference with the boxing judges and the Survivor jury is that the boxing judges just WATCH the game, while the Survivor jury PARTICIPATE in the game. It's different to be watching from afar as compared to actually playing and being sent to the bench.

and if the jury were to put their emotions aside and who was actually better at the game then their not different from judges in boxing... the jury were watching russ and nat live and if they put their feelings aside and give the person who actually deserved the money then judges in boxing n jury in survivor are the same

For what it's worth, you ALWAYS assume that the jury will be bitter. If he can't convince them to get over it and doff their hats to him, that's his problem, not theirs.

And the funny part: All he had to do was to forge the bonds with them and they'd be likely vote along the lines he valued dearly. He overlooked something so simple to do to give him the win.

@jpad319 human nature? that's the bitter nature, so let's change this to a who can be the kindest in the end contest, and russell is russell its a case of personality you shouldnt judge the winner of survivor becuz of personality... so when there being the jury they have to be ''professional'' for a minute, professional like a judge who knows what he is doing and who deserves it most

In Survivor, there's no such thing as being "professional" in the jury. You vote however you want for whatever reason you have, which is the essence of the game. After all, it's just a game!

@SuperSkuxxDeluxx Like I've said before, there's NO rule saying you should put aside emotions while voting. "Respect the game" may be ideal, but in reality, you'll still have to deal with fragile beings.

And why are you blaming the jury so much? Blame HIM. He's the one on trial, not them. He ran roughshod over them and guess where the votes went?
