25-30k???just get a couple front axles from rockwell(2 1/2 ton) and put a hydrolic switch or an air line that turns the axle and have a switch mounted on the dash. For a rig such as that he has rockwells under it, you dont build a rig like that without them.

They are too heavy on an axle. Most rigs that do well in XXRA and WErock have Currie HI 9" axles. More durable and alot lighter. That and the fact you cant do anything with a rockwell, Its either open diff, or welded locked. There are many axles out there much better than rockwells, They are for hillbilly mud trucks.
