  • I like this one too.

  • Hi Ken - I'm enjoying your uke videos and learning some of your arrangements on my uke - thanks for sharing them. I'm curious about your video/audio recording setup, which looks and sounds very effective. I see you are using a Zoom H2 (I just acquired one of these). Are you using the H2 as the audio input for your video recording software? How are you adding the reverb effect? What software are you using for video and audio recording, and what camera?

    Thanks, Jack

  • H2 goes via USB into my laptop. I use Audacity. I add a touch of upper EQ, Gverb and normalise. I then make an MP3. My camera is an ordinary little digital still camera. I always try to record the video in good light (house lights, window). Nothing special at all.

  • Thank you for these wonderful moments with your singing and playing. Very heartwarming. : )

  • Thank you.

  • I love it!

  • Thanks.

  • Hi Ken - great version of Hallelujah - interested in your uke - it looks like a baritone (or is it a tenor?) tuned to Bb with a high 4th string - do you always use that tuning?

  • It's a tenor. Yes, I always use the Bb tuning on this uke, but not the others.

  • @KenMiddletonUkulele Why the Bb tuning?

  • Why not? No real reason. The strings are slacker however.

  • really touched my heart,sweet

  • Thank you.

  • That was really beautiful Ken! I've always loved that song, and your version of it is absolutely beautiful.

  • Thank you, Michelle.

  • I think I like the uke version more - and I LOVED your guitar version.

Like I said - I'm just thrilled to hear these alternate lyrics. I had them on a compilation some girlfriend made for me and hadn't heard them in years. Thought I was going nuts.

"There was a time you let me know

    What's really going on below

Ah but now you never show it to me, do you?"

    So stong...

  • Wonderful, Ken. I was listening to your original version on my ipod earlier on. You're the king of Cohen.

  • Thanks. I've recorded it 4 times now and I think I like this one the best.

  • I agree.

The link for the download isn't working

  • It is working now. I've fixed it. Thanks for telling me.
