@2blackqueens1 Not too often, during the summer months i usually wash my hair twice a month, and when the winter months come around i wash it every 3 and a half weeks to a month at a time.
When I tried the fat twists, my son hated it. He's only 12 and a knuckle head of course, but his and his dad's are the only quick opinions I have. My hair is very short, so I plan on trying the fat twists again once it grows some. In the meantime, I luv luv luv my small twists, and fortunately my son and hubby luv them too!
@maximuslyricus I sure hope you have a better result the next time you try it. It does look better the longer you hair gets. Thanks so much for stopping by to comment. I truly appreciate it. Take care and God bless.
I find if you moisturize your hair before applying the shea butter and/or coconut oil it helps. I also use aloe vera gel and veggie glycerin. Be careful w/ the glycerin ( start with a little) it can make your hair sticky
Thanks so much Mahogany i'm learning this natural thing over here and its getting better and better with every experience. Thanks for encouraging us to love our own hair type on you video because after i saw that i realized thats what makes us unique and special. I can now say im proud to be a 4b/ 4c. Your hair looks awesome! I did flat twists as another way to keep from doing so many small twists. As your hair grows, you learn what it likes :)
