Like a few here I went to street level and it was flat. I forgot the signal was going from my phone/computer to a satellite in space, back to Google then back to my " unit". I just had to wait a few seconds for it to load.

I am so sorry I upgraded to the new version of Google Earth because the new "street view" absolutely sucks! first of all if you think you're going to get a nice clear image like the one in this video you're in one for a big shock. Image quality suffers, memory takes a beating, not that easy to navigate and the "zoom" feature for the mouse scroll wheel has been taken away. I am trying to get back to my previous version but so far I'm not having any luck.  Google has messed up.
