as often as i see this..... Richard Armitage is on his way to be a remarkable actor ...playing like a piece of wood in Robin Hood 1 to this brilliant acting in spooks.....
I'm with all those who note that our beautiful, vulnerable Lucas deserves MUCH better than the blonde phony. He's obviously in a rebound mode. You did a fabulous vid, even if you were forced to use Sarah Caufield as his woman in it. He makes it all worthwhile! Obviously, that he could make the love scene so poignant is a tribute to his acting skills. (And your skills as a video editor!) Thanks!
Oh my poor, darling Lucas . . . so in need of love and tenderness, but the icy Sarah is truly a bad apple and unworthy of this glorious man . . . Richard owned this last ep. Wonderful vid, love the song choices and of course, the subject matter - the enigmatic, tortured hero, Lucas North.
I do see parallels here with Guy - being manipulated by the woman he loves, the sense of betrayal . . . *sigh* Thanks for another lovely vid, darling.
This is so beautiful and so sad. I hope he's really figured out the reality of things and is just staying close to her so that he can try to figure things out or stop her. He must be able to recognize manipulation after 8 years in a Russian prison. Then again, maybe he just wants so much that he can't see her wickedness. Lovely video. Made me teary.
As you say, we do not like this pairing because, though we are not secret agent, we feel she's false, she's insincere, she's put and will put Lucas in danger. I agree with you, he must need someone who loves him after suffering so much but HE DESERVES MUCH MORE than a fake love story. Maybe she will change, but for now ...
@SMaryG I hear what your saying there. I have a really bad feeling as do a lot of us, that she is rotten to the core, and that Lucas will be so blinded by his love for her, he won't see what's coming....

2:08-14 poor lucas. 8yrs of pain & suffering. RA great job playing lucas. I feel his suffering in this scene. I want to cry.
