ola ma friend, dat was a gr8 piece of flammenco technic, not 2 fast and not 2 slow,,just right,i play by ear,and my ears are hearing you..welldun and keep it up...try john clarks the most evolved fantastic piece ov music..peace..
Yeah, it's pretty difficult. I'd suggest learning the flamenco triplet first...it's easier, and once you get it, you'll have a better idea of how these things are supposed to feel. I'd also suggest focusing on each strike. Like, start slowly, do strike 1, strke 2, etc. and then gradually build up your speed. It does sound good though...just make your strikes better and work on the hand-movement thing and you're golden.
hey del:) thanks for the kind comments on my videos. It's good to see a fresh take on the learning of flamenco, most of us fall into the trap and take it too seriously. Good Job!
hehe thanks i dont know why i cant get it to sound the same (well actually i do it's because i'm rubbish!) but i will keep practicing until it sounds right. :-P
you've got me started though! i spent a whole night copying you at slow speed, couldnt make it it sound like anything! woke up the next day (with sore arm) tried again, still didnt sound right but sounded like the vid and i've been playing around with it since, so thanks!!!
