My favorite class. Although I'm not really aggressive, since the low health is an issue. I fly around and heal my teammates, set up sentries, and hit enemies with drive-by missiles.

For aggressive Scientist, I use The Burst Rifle and the Healing Ray for secondary. Abilities are Shockwave and Disguise. I am consistantly leading my teams, I have over 4200 kills and less that 3500 deaths. Rank 945 on Team Deathmatch. For advice on how to play scientist, friend me I am Anathama82 on Xbox Live

@Korbeast It's called and overshield, and it gives you extra armor. It is found on various places on each map and it will look like a floating shield with a plus sign on it.

@Toineuchiha Killstreaks happen when you get 3, 5, and 7 kills in a row without dieing. They are different for each class. They are basically special abilities than can be used during the game whether it's locating the enemies positions for a short time, leaving a trail of thermal seeking mines, or in the case of the scientist, having a weapon with a 1 shot kill.

I personally think shockwave is nice and either Drain or the disguise thing. I've never used disguise, but it does seem like it could be of good use for flying into people and using that shotgun, or into a group of people, shockwave and do work.

EMP shotgun is a must for the aggressive type play, probably the assault rifle for secondary. But if you feel like you're good enough for a burst weapon, use the photon. I personally love it.

Very good use of the Scientist class. The nucleon shock cannon is by far the most rarely seen killstreak on the battlefield in my experience with this game.

I've been thinking of dropping the repair sentry in favor of drain. How does drain work, exactly? Do you have to keep the cross-hair over your target, or does it just automatically lock on to the nearest enemy?

Anyone in the small area of effect of it will get drained, though you could easily get killed by a melee from anyone, so it's not smart in my opinion.

Not bad at all. I would suggest doing more barrel rolls when you're making a quick exit, though. Doing so has saved my butt many times. Oh, and I cried when you transformed and lost your shock cannon! That weapon is so beast.
