Jane Frazee was one of those underappreciated and, sadly, largely forgotten actresses from back in the day. She did a great job with this very pretty tune.
I was just a young boy when I first heard this short song in this movie. For some reason it brought a tear--don't know why. I though of so many soldiers who left home to serve our country; who sat in lonely fox holes and dreamed of home. Many did not come back. Thank you Guys & Gals for your bravery and dedication. On a 'hot babe' meter that measures from 1-10 Jane would probably register an good 87 or so! Hats off to you for posting this splendid gem.
