  • I love Liz Dargan.listen to her song on here called, "everythings gonna be alright"

  • This is the 'Holy Ghost' sound the 'Joyful Noise' that is sorely missing in the gospet music of today. This is what I miss so much. TU for posting this music.

  • How well I remember this period of time. This was Liz's hit on the road and I do mean hit!!!! Jackie Verdell and I drove them, the Andrewettes, to the airport from the Cecil Hotel in Harlem to catch a plane to Europe, where they filmed these performances. Baltimore has produced some great gospel singers and Liz was one of the best!! Much Love.

  • we have such a rich history. be proud of it black people.

  • Somebody back there singing HARD!!!! LMBO!! BUT THEY SANGIN!

  • Gospel Music at it's Best! We don't hear this type of singing anymore that it too bad.. We need to go back to the real gospel music not this new stuff.

  • YES LORD...

  • my my my

  • yall better sing!!

  • wow!!! thats old school singing...

  • but the soloist is not inez andrews!!

  • @buffalmacco76 yes it is.

  • no...inez andrews is the first on the right!!..she was group leader but in this performance she's on background voices.

  • Their is a very sweet voiced soprano in this line-up that sounds astonishing !

  • That's the lady standing on Inez's left with that voice!

  • Inez sure knew how to pick 'em huh?? That lady can SANG !

  • Yes she can!

  • @WoodeytheBigEyedOne I know, she makes the song in my opinion!

  • This must be from TV Gospel Time in the early 1960s.I was told there was an effort to bring the show back but the owners of the show's rights have no plans whatsoever and not to put the show out on DVD.

  • I think you have TV Gospel Time confused with Jubilee Showcase. Episodes of TV Gospel Time on DVD exist and are available with certain CDs released by Calvin Records. Jubilee Showcase is the one where there are no plans to release episodes on DVD. But the guy who owns the rights to JS wants to produce a 7 part TV special about gospel using JS footage. He wants to air the special on PBS or cable. I don't know how the project is coming along, but I wish him luck.

  • where can i buy them at?

  • I love it. Thanks for posting this vid. YOu just don't hear this type of singing anymore.

  • You Are Right About That

  • They'd betta sang! Robert Anderson's face at 0:09 looks like "dang, that didn't come out like I wanted it!"

  • do you happen to have a copy of the andrewettes with the new line up singing this song that line up is awesome as well and also do youb have a copy of the failure is not in God by the norwood singers

  • Sing Lady! Sing Lady!

  • Liz, looks a little sick on this recording. She doesn't quite sounds like her self. I see the personnel of the girls has changed, i wonder what year was this. beautiful post, i'm loving it too much.

  • this looks like this was a little earlier, like when Inez first formd the group.

  • YES! Sang Liz!
