Good SNES Music: Castlevania: Dracula X (Akumajo Dracula XX) - part 1/2

Underrated game. I Think the music and graphics are waaaay better than Castlevania 4. But many consider this game to be a cutted port of "Rondo Of Blood".

The trut (for me) is that this game is not as good a Rondo Of Blood and lacks the good gameplay of Super Castlevania 4. But still a great game and deserved better criticism.

@shadowupper You'r arguement stand quite well, excpept this game is superior to the CV4 :). Neverthless, CV Bloodlines is the best CV ever made!

I like this theme better because it makes you feel like the player in this game wants revenge for his village being destroyed.

Never played Castlevania Dracula X or any other Castlevania game but my mate was playing this yesterday and this tune had me hooked, haha love it!!!

@ 1:05 the tune changes to something the other versions didnt have except for the Rondo of Blood opening which admittingly is one of its best parts

This version of Dracula X should have also been on the PSP instead of the third idiotic waste of space "minigame" that's included in the PSP game, alongside the original Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night.

I think the music in this game stands up quite well to the CD version. The SNES sound chip was pretty amazing for its time.

the snes version has a nice jazzy sound at the background as it was supposed to simmulate cracky woods,bones.

but seriousely when i listen those musics in dolbysurround is a awesome experience.

even compared to the pce version, it,s acceptible.

Compared to the PC Engine version, this game is pretty crappy.

When judged as an SNES game, it is pretty damn good. The graphics, especially how smoothly sprites are animated, and the music were amazing for their time.

While it lacks the sublime controls from Castlevania 4, it's still fun, albeit incredibly cheap as far as enemies and platforming go.
