@nebby6 It is an investment up front for sure but I find great value in the long run considering time taken to track down separate carts and buying them etc. Not for everyone but I love multi carts and the retro community are exactly the niche market that do buy these items actually.
I really want to know if you can fit every single game in the library on one SD card. Now, that would be something. I also would like to know how much it will cost and when will it be ready.
I love the fact that smart and technically proficient retro fans are coming up with devices like this. This is excellent and I would say necessary to helping to preserve these old classic games. Great news RD :)
Will games that require certain controllers still work like they should? How much will this thing cost? How many will be made, will they be in short supply?
Awesome! i wish they would make an emulaor that plays carts like they did for the nes, snes, and genesis. That's kewl though. as long as you get a good rom then there shouldn't be any worry about compatibility right? Because it's not just an emulator. Can't wait for the video!
@MaximumRD Ah gotcha! Well it might still happen, there are threads over at Atariage forums where someone has been supposedly working on a compatible unit with upgraded capabilities as well! There was the Dina 2in1 by Telegames but that was a while back and they are pretty flimsy hardware also from what I understand. Anyway on the Atariage forums check the Colecovision Adam / Opcode Games there is a there is a thread called "The official "ColecoVision 2" thread for what possibly appear some day.
Colecovision games don't take up too much space, but I might as well ask the question. What is the maximum SD memory card size that the cart can handle?
Very cool Rob! I love the cuttle cart 3 for the Intellivision which uses a mini/micro SD (I forget), I am borrowing one now as I don't want to pay $150 for it :)
Very cool. But, at $129.00, too expensive for alot of retro collectors.

rob,
I have been so tempted to order both the colecovision and atari multicarts.
But have held back on account of not being keen on paying a potentially heafty import tax charge.
I live in the U.k.
Have you encountered any problems with any roms not working?
What are your thoughts on the durability and build quality of th thing? What iimprovements could be made?
I know you will do a great job with your review.LOL and look forward with interest to viewing it.
