  • I'm a Gooner, but I remember so well that early 70s Chelsea side. Ossie was such a character and a damned good player. Was shocked when I heard of his death. Hail and farewell the King of Stamford Bridge.

    I was at the last game before Christmas, a couple of months before, and Ossie came out at half time and was introduced to the crowd. He looked so well as he walked around the pitch waving at everyone, yet only a couple of months later, we lost our King.......Rest in peace Ossie, King of the bridge.
