I do not know about the background song. But I know for shore that the poem is written by Dr. Samay Hamed who lives in Denmark and he is known both in Afg. and abroad as an activist and a critic of the system. He, fights for democracy and works hard for establishing of democratic institutions and foundations in Afghanistan..

The recitation og the poem by mrs. Maryam Ishaq Azizi, is so well done. She is a pure afghan waman with a beutifull voice. I love her voice :-)
