I love the Chinese ver, tho the personalities are different it made the series a whole lot more interesting. :D At times I prefer it better than the anime ;p

Hai Tang is very amusing, he tends to talk a lot XD and so is Guo Guang XD and Fuji is so frikkin HOT XDDDDD Long ma is a lot more sweeter to Ling ying, and I l♥ved that twist :D

Tho it's different from the Original Jap ver. I still think it's interesting cause it would've been boring if they followed each and every aspect of the 1st

at first i thought its not that good, but when i started watching it, its really pretty good., and im glad that they were able to make it a tv series, hehe...qing junjie is kinda cute too, hehe...and in their story they gave emphasis on long ma and yin ling (ryoma n sakuno) which gave the story a different twist...hehe, this is the first chinese tv series i took interest and liked a lot, hehehe...go Long Ma!!!

I have to say, for a series I went into expecting the worst, I was pleasantly surprised. While there are many differences between the original material and this series, they've made some wonderful improvements. For one, where Ryoma was depicted as the quintessential "perfect" player in the manga, the drama goes ahead and gives him more hardships, endearing him towards the viewer more as he develops and becomes closer to the others. It's not a perfect adaptation, but it's definitely a nice watch.

i'm a huge POT fan, but i've got to say this is disappointing. the characters are very OOC, and that includes Echizen. Echizen was condescending i guess, but they've just made him rude. Tezuka looses much of his "cool" demeanor here, and even cracks jokes (probably to give him a bigger role), and made Fuji way too protective of his little brother, Yuuta. and the tennis is very well choreographed either. i'd even say this barely follows the original story.

maybe you try to see it as a TV series about Chinese tennis player rather than a TV series of Japanese tennis player, after all, no matter how hard the actors try, they won't be Japanese.

Just watch it for the sake of enjoyment rather than critising.

i don't have anything against their nationality, it's just how the show is composed. you don't have to be japanese to act "cool" or distant, nor does the change in story have anything to do with being chinese.

i actually think its pretty good... its best not to compare mangas with the anime or any shows based off of it cuz they never come out the same... plus this is cut down to only 21 eps so it would make sense if it doesnt follow the original story...

i think by exaggerating the rudeness/condescend the acting is better and they at least made use of the girl way better than they did in the actual manga...

Yeah, they made everyone more realistic, like they fleshed out their personalities, etc. The acting isn't oscar-winning but it's a lot better than the Taiwanese series out there. Like a lot, lot better. If you need links to where to download it, pm me.
