Many don't like LL, either due to total jealousy or ignorance.
LL brings a new generation of fans back into the classics, and therefore he is very important in that regard to bridge the old stiff generations into the new crazy kids growing up today with all their electronic distractions.
He shows us that it's still great to play a piano, and that we can still work hard and have fun at the same time.
Lang Lang is with their own understanding of classical music among young people in their own way to his passion with classical music to the release of their feelings

RUDE this little guy.....
i met him today in Vienna...quite rude this little Chinese , in a hurry and not caring much for his fans... he signed our Cd's as if we were in a Government Office...
...Signing...not even looking at us....making the line go super FAST! and not even saying thank you to all of us that we came to see him....even talking with his staff while signing....
quite a dissapointment..
TAKE IT EASY LANG LANG! you are good...but not a LIVING LEGEND!!! so come down and be cool!
He doesn't seem arrogant or an ego trip or anything. He's just not as musical as some others, but he'll probably grow into that a little later. His technique is far above his interpretational understanding --but give the guy more years.
People, try to watch tchaikovsky piano concerto no.3 1st movement with langlang as its pianist. Very cool... impressive... and you know that he is a classical rock!
I love his performance for tchaikovsky piano concerto... its extremely beautiful and dynamic. ive never seen a pianist plays like him. so impressive, fresh, and emotional.
I think Lang Lang is an EXTREMELY talented musician. He is so animated when he plays, and just watching his fingers trail along the keys gives me goosebumps because I've never heard anyone play as well as he does. He's amazing.
oh yes his fingers, seems like controlled by magic or something.. lol! some people may not like his style, but its every pianist has their style, and his is special, something different =D He's gonna be remembered for the next thousand years!
ależ on się dystyngowanie wyraża,pełnia kultury i stylu.Gra trochę za techniczna, jak dlamnie. Uczucia wykalkulowane.A może nie..może tak to słyszy...Jeszcze młody jest...
@sagalat Me too, I always thought the Hayden sonatas were really boring, even after hearing it from my favorite pianists, until Lang Lang's version at Carnegie Hall!
3:20 serious looking kid!
