This is a classic kick ass metal song that seems to be overlooked by most of the metal community. We have a band on our label named Pursuit Of Power that have done an excellent remake of Russian Winter that will be on their debut CD around November 2011.
One of the truly great bands that just seemed to get forgotten...I still remember being 16, reading books on the Russian Front of WW II; this song captured it all. The savagery, the courage, the complete absence of "good guys or bad guys". Just pure, primordial war...
