OMG, I remember this race so well. I raced to get home from night shift since I had it on my reminders that day was the final of the relay where possibly Mike would get his 8th gold. I was so anxious, really anxious for the race to get on, and when Jason touched the wall just mere split seconds before Eamon did, man, I was squealing like hell! Lezak is the shit!

The whole team was amazing in this race. I rly like how phelps gave so much credit to his relay team for the record of 8 gold medals in a race, the team was really bonded like bestfriends, i read a bunch of interviews in SPLASH. I love swimming and its really cool to watch people achieve this stuff its like a motivation for me.

Yea, I was front row haha :). Actually, his family is VERY chill, I was flirting with his sister for a while, and they recorded me doing the macerena haha, I had no idea it was his family (besides the mom).
