No. You can't.

Moreover, it's difficult to game on a laptop.

First off, your card (that you just told me about) probably won't run this game too fast. Second, it's an ATI card. ONLY (and when I saw only, I mean it) NVIDIA cards support PhysX. Geforce 8 and up.

hahaha physx is not only exclusive of pc, the physx engine is even available for the nintendo wii and also ps3, xbox and linux just google it or read the article from wikipedia.

lag, id turn it straight off... yukky. Perhaps in a yer or sos time when Nvidia start releasing real cards that arent using chipas from 2 years ago and relabeling them as new. Nvidia are on the way out.

First you need a video card that supports Physx, only Nvidia cards support it and at that I believe only Geforce 8 series and up supports it.

But if you have a video card that supports it you should be all set because it should have installed physx when you installed you video card. But if not you can always go to nvidias website and download the software, it's free.

Yeah I was kinda thinkin that, but there has to be someway to make PhysX work with your CPU or mod it to use Ati hardware

I don't think theres a mod to make it work on ATI cards but I know for sure that you can't make it work with your CPU. The Physx technology is owned by Nvidia thats why it is only compatible with there cards

@xXskater15Xx It doesnt matter physx can still be dedicated to the processor but its pointless as it will murder your framerate. I have a gtx 580 and I still dont enable it in most games because its simply not worth loosing 40 percent of your performance.

For some reason, physX would run fine on this game a few days ago, installed a few new drivers, now it drops down to 3-6 frames per second during random moments (during physX effects) that the game lags horribly.. haven't found a solution yet.

your card might be overheating, if you don't have it already you should get ntune from nvidia's website. then go to performance, adjust GPU settings, then select Direct fan control under GPU fan control, and set your fan speed to 80%, that should keep it cool. you also might want to get a can of compressed air (like Dust off) and spray it on your fansinside your PC.

Thats if its overheating, it could be something else. Try that anyways it could help.

watch the video again, and pay attention to both sides and look at the differences, the right side has a lot more detail with physics. It ups the physics in the game and makes it more realistic.

Hi. I got problem with physX in this game. I have huge fps drop to 5fps in the game when Swat is hiting glas - 0.49s . Probably everywhere this problem appear When I disable physX everythings runs ok. I got q6600, MSI GF 8800GTX, 2GB 800cl4, Evga 650i U. Everything run on XP SP3 32bit. The game is patched and I have the highest drivers. Please help me :)
