  • This is a great video

  • Yes, the earth will survive, might not be habitable...

  • @marycarols2 it recycles all, air will be pure, water as well, soil too, the filth and decay, oil for the next species to use as fuel! The earth will always be there and if even slightly changed, it will make pure again what was defiled. Amen,

  • @Deadcrows1981

You had to go and say Amen xD....

  • take that you tree hugging loony libs

  • very interesting video thanks

  • good work here

  • This is a great video

  • you have some great stuff here

  • Genius. People thought he was a liberal because of his views on religion, but he just rejected bullcrap wherever it came from. Everybody seems to have an agenda these days. I miss him because he was one of those rare individuals who knew that Tree Huggers and Tea Party supporters aren't so different at all. And he sure was funny proving it.

  • Amazingly funny views on? O_o

More like amazingly thought out and smart take on

  • As much sense he does and doesn't make. This makes me want to watch Bill and ted.

  • Not a plastic bag, not some aluminium can. One contributed to another, pile up.

  • I've never heard Carlin talk so much shit. Genuinely disappointed.

  • @mooxim He doesnt say we shouldnt stop people from doing pollution and harrp, he is just saying it is human self preservation, not earth saving. We could live perfectly clean for a thousand years and in 2 minutes the earth could spill out enough volcanic ash to destroy all life. we live clean for our selves not the earth. get it?

  • @RageMojo I'd respond properly but all i can remember about the video is that i don't want to watch it again.

  • at 6:45 .... didnt he just describe AIDS?

  • Does anyone know what the guy in the audience yells around 2:08?

  • @Hillhermit You idiot.

  • the planet will be destroyed by a nuclear war? Why would we die and our bodies decay? because some living organism will eat our bodies. yes, life will go on even if humans or some animals become extinct. david defeated goliath with a slingshot. world war iii could be decided by who has the best aim, most slingshots, and most rocks.

  • Man This Guy is A BEAST..

  • @Hillhermit good intelligent rebuttal... phff

when people like George Carlin see it for himself.. its kinda hard to ignore the truth!

you said your glad hes dead...?. your right on line with New age wacco environmentalist tactics there ..

which put the MENTAL in environMentalism

  • on THIS ISSUE heS RIGHT on... wow .. environmentalist ARE PAGANS WORKING FOR THE NEW WORLD ORDER ELITES !!!

  • I know that animals go by themselves, but a lot of the animals that have become on the exstinct list, is because we did it. Not real nature.

  • funny guy! but not well said at all... that's what misinformation brings about.

    being quick:

no the rate of extinction tday is not hapenning without our interference. currently live through the 6th great extinction in the history of the planet, evidences point to it being mostly to blame on anthropogenic interference

real easy to laugh at the joke that takes off your blame from being dumb consumers of plastic and all sorts of crap. look up biophysical limits, get new insights

    best for y'all

  • @cariocrew The problem with many of Carlin's followers is they eat up anything the man says. Carlin has even contradicted himself with different skits. Why? Because it's COMEDY. He doesn't say his views, he says what's funny. There's plenty of evidence that shows the Holocene extinction is our doing, but people are too lazy and frightened of self-change to face what they're doing. It's quite a shame.

  • The sad part is that the guy who is talking actually knows this is true.

  • This is fucking dead-on.

  • Well.. when you put it that way it all makes sense lol

  • It's sad, but it's true: mankind is growing and we won't stop until we outgrow ourselves. Global warming, oil pollution, nuclear powerplants blowing up ... OK, some AIDS but that won't make a difference. The earth doesn't have to kill us - we can take care of that ourselves! We are so busy thinking about tomorrow. The earth "thinks" in thousands of years. We can hardly embrace this. That's why we are going away.

    - Pack your shit folks -

  • The Earth is killing us with AIDS!!

  • He was a GOOD comedian, with much truths... But I don't think he was a scientist which figured out WHY CO2 is an infrared absorber.

  • 16 people who dislike this are plastic bags.

  • @mrmoussaable douchebags are PLASTIC!!!!

  • 2:30 Well the global warming is happening...

  • @pochopaz7381 That's not the point..his point is that global warming or everything else we humans do is NOT going to destroy the planet, its going to destroy OURSELVES. So, people who talk about "saving the planet" are full of shit. It should be "saving humans".

  • @idikitos Not really. Anthropocentrism (the idea that humans are super important) is what got us here in the first place. And he's talking about the literal planet, people who want to save the Earth want to save the living habitats and wildlife and that's something we CAN destroy. Let's not circle around the issue with comedy. We do need to change for ourselves and for the rest of life on Earth.

  • it's called spontaneous combustion I think. you'll just be sitting there minding your own business and then poof gone. south park said that it's because that person holds in their farts.

  • The 16 dislikes are the people yelling at him angrily in the audience.

  • I miss him!

  • That was mind blowing

  • I wish he was still alive....

  • dude guys he a fucking comedian his job is to make people laugh and ranting the truth is his way of doing his job just stop getting all scientific on the guy and just laugh at his jokes

  • Hell yeahh!!!!

  • Way to go George. ;)

  • "PLASTIC. Assholes...."

    -Planet Earth

  • Global warming is a issue, And obviously the cause of that problem is ourselves. So yes we should firstly save ourselves.

The planet is not going to get sterile, but it will cripple society as it is. Thats all, and its a good thing.

  • @InODependanceSyndrom GFlobal warming is an issue like all other superstitions' end of the world fantasies are issues. It's bunk pseudoscience quackery.

  • @InODependanceSyndrom what are you trying to say?

  • And coke doesnt come out of a tap, only in restaurants, cafes, and maybe in your spoiled case at home. Come to think of it, thats typical american.

  • The dumbest shit I hear is banning bottled water. It's the same water, bottle, and package from the same company that sells Coke. So why don't idiots whine about banning bottled Coke?

  • @Kelly119119

All that unnecessary C02 just for being to lazy to use a tap. These bottles are reproduced you know, involving fabrication. Now you may have never seen a factory before. It compresses, burns, and squeezes it into a new bottle, involving kilos of CO2 gasses for a bottle. For 2 liter water.

In other words, great contribution to global warming just for being to lazy to walk to your kitchens tap.

Its not dumb at all, your dumb.

  • @InODependanceSyndrom Don't cry homo...tap water is for faggots like you.

  • @InODependanceSyndrom What's dumb is believing in magic CO2. Water vapor is earth's only significant greenhouse gas, and water vapor alone acts on energy to regulate the earth's reflectivity, and also transports vast amounts of energy from the surface to the atmosphere. The CO2 even at quadruple current amounts, is entirely irrelevant. There is still not a shred of evidence to suppose the global warming scam.

  • @wrjamescom Hmm. 85% of credible scientists or some guy on YouTube. Who to trust???

  • @Mishyana By your reasonsing, since only creationists are studying "creation science", and virtually all of them believe in creationism, then it must be science and evolution must be wrong. ZERO percent of scientists believe in the magic CO2 religion, just as ZERO believe in "creation science". Neither are science. Those peddling both are either idiots who don't understand science, or frauds who are making money on the scam or peddling it for political purposes.

  • @Mishyana By your "reasoning", since virtually all of those studying "creation science" believe it's real, that means evolution is nonsense. In reality, NO scientists believe in the magic CO2 religion or the "creation science" nonsense. Neither are science. Those peddling it are either idiots who do not understand science, or frauds who make money from the scam, or hacks peddling it for political purposes. Your 85% figure is silly. It's off by 85%.

  • @Mishyana And btw, "who to trust" involves belief, not evidence. Instead of believing, why not demand evidence? I've been demanding evidence of the magic CO2 nonsense since it started, and so far no one has come up with anything other than computer models with a 100% failure rate and creatively "corrected" (faked) data. It's impossible to get the raw data from most of them because they delete it rather than allow anyone to review their work. Why do you suppose that is?

  • @wrjamescom It's a huge conspiracy, james, they're all determined to keep the truth from you and your icy stare. Damn liberals.

  • @Mishyana It's no more a conspiracy then any other religion that relies on ignorance to attract believers. And I couldn't help notice that you couldn't find any evidence either. If you could, you would have posted it.

  • @wrjamescom Aw, that's so cute, you think I'm taking you seriously.

  • @Mishyana No, if you took anything seriously, you wouldn't be superstitious, you wouldn't believe in magic CO2. But you already know that. But still no evidence, huh?

  • @wrjamescom James, James, James... you're really going to have to try harder. Conspiracies are in another department, over at Alex Jones' website....

  • 13 people are a failed mutation. xD

  • 2:28

  • @canatheist yeah man just google it i read it in a book i got at my house called historys worst decisions its a interesting book it starts with adam and eve and goes all the way to enron

  • @Canatheist The fertile soil can be replaced with hydrophonics -if fact we should already be doing this-. Sea water can be artificially created very easely, so it's possible to produce many sea products in farms out of the sea. It's not a nice panorama, for sure. All i'm saying is if we want to keep enjoying this wonderful planet as we're now we must be more responsable.

  • "The planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas."

  • what comedy show is this

  • I loved this guy very smart and every word is true

  • aids wasnt started by nature scientist were in the congo fucken around with monkeys and looking for a cure for something i think it was polio but i forget

  • "We didn't kill them all."

Yeah, but we did kill of some of them. Granted, a small percentage, like about 1%, maybe less, but still.

  • @Rubberman202 thats what he said lol idiot "we didnt kill them all" i.e some of them

  • Well.. yeah.. the reasoning is pretty sound - people are fucking themselves with all the pollution n stuff.

If we urbanized absolutely every pitch of earth and then mysteriously vanished, I bet my cereal, after a decade everything would have grown over with green and after a longer time it would be a forest, full with animals, weeds and you could barely recognise former structures.

Nature can grow back (Unless we manage to get Earth rid of magnetic field like Mars)

  • "Saving endangered species is just one more arrogant attempt by humans to control nature. It's arrogant meddling!"

    Right on, George. Right on!

In a little over 7 minutes George Carlin sums up the complete fallacy of environmental extremism. Global warming...I mean climate change...I mean climate disruption and its now-irrelevant spokesperson Al Gore is a perfect example. All the fallacious environmental disasters are just crass attempts to grab power and control others.

  • @hylareca No of course not. I grew up in America where we learn nothing in public school. ROTFL

  • @hylareca I don't think YOU know what the word fascism means.

  • The earth can be clearly affected and we're the ones that have to live with the results. Sure, in the grand scheme of things, the earth is indifferent (even less than that) , but if what were doing will cause future human generations great misery, shouldn't we do something about it?

  • @28335 If you're really concerned about our effect on future generations you need to worry about what the U.S. gov't is doing to the country. Trillions of dolars of debt and mountains of regulations about what the gov't says we can eat, drink, and use to llight our homes is a far greater threat than all the alleged environmental catastrophes we somehow think we're causing and we can change.

  • George is right - Al Gore is one of the biggest elitist, self-righteous, hypocrites on earth. Where has he been this winter when everyone was freezing their asses off ? Hiding from his own bullshit???

  • gay...

  • George Carlin was a genius stating great truths.

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! I consider myself an "environmental activist" but I have to admit ol' George was RIGHT! Planet earth will just see us as a bunch of annoying "fleas" and shake us off! Pricless!!

  • Brilliant.

  • You don't have to clean your house either but who wants to live in a pile of shit?

  • @perfunction Flies and lawyers? :)

  • Great man! RIP

  • pack your shit folks were going away.... funny shit

  • HAHAHAHAH

  • Chill out everyone, this was done way before the green movement, think about it, making fun of homosexuals was cool too. I'm sure there's old comedy sketches about having slaves too. Sometimes we just don't know.

    But still epic delivery.

  • @DaveC2K9 LOL! Maybe homosexuality is the earth's answer to wiping out humanity!!! LOL!!

  • I disagree with him in this case. WE can save some species by preserving their habitat.

  • @selearemus We can, and to at least a large degree we should. And I think Carlin would agree. I think you missed his point. There are fanatic scare mongers who blame humans for everything and think we have total control over nature. Those people are idiots. Also, the reason most species that are near extiction are there is because they were already on their way out, too poorly evolved and unsustainable populations before we ever showed up. Should we interfere with nature to save them?

  • (Revelation 11:17-18) saying: “We thank you, Jehovah God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun ruling as king. But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”

'...to bring to ruin those ruining the earth'

  • the people are fucked, classic. lmao, i am sure george was pasting on to the awake people more than, the classic, the people are fucked, but carry on interperting the message that way and the nwo wins. you bunch of sheep. ps george is the number 1 man, period.

  • Exactly what german kabarett artist Dieter Nuhr said: Pollution is not bad for the planet, it is bad for US

  • @MsRedrum3 idiot you need both liberals, conservatives, marxists, and others to strike a balanced society

  • @LeoLeoni13

How about Nazis? We need those too?

There's good reason to condemn many ideologies to the "ash heap of history"<--You should probably look that up.

  • @kyleb2112 you must be a retard to equate liberals with nazi

  • @LeoLeoni13 Liberals ARE fascists.

  • @thejimmyzshow Liberalism is not fascism. I don't know where you got that information from but it's defiantly not a fact. Read a book, and then come back. Liberalism and Fascism are two whole different ideologies.

  • @zonip67 It wasn't before, and now it is.

  • @thejimmyzshow Are you stupid? Fascism is an extremely CONSERVATIVE view, the complete opposite end of the spectrum from liberalism. Do some research before you speak. Use that thing between your ears called a brain, if you even have one.

  • @JustAUsernam3 Let's see: "Fascists advocate the creation of a totalitarian single-party state that seeks the mass mobilization of a nation through indoctrination..." sounds like you guys. It's not easily defined 'right' - "Fascism is normally described as "extreme right",[33] although writers have found placing fascism on a conventional left-right political spectrum difficult.[34] There is a scholarly consensus that fascism was influenced by both left and right..." so you're wrong.

  • @thejimmyzshow Isn't Left wing Facism just called Communism? Look at most communist countries, economically they are not communist. Government structure... One party with totalitarian power which has nothing to do with what Marx wrote about.

Really its the same shit, they just spew different rhetoric out to their people.

  • @JustAUsernam3 You're completely, utterly WRONG: Fascism emerged from the UNION Movement in Italy, which associated with the German Nazis = National SOCIALISTS. They didn't hold "conservative" views, they saw themselves as REVOLUTIONARIES who tried to eliminate all traces of the former societies. Read some first-hand sources, watch Hitler speeches - he HATES Capitalism and individual liberty.

Also, stop calling Socialism "liberalism". Liberalism means LESS State, not more!

  • @AmadeusPower

Yes, fascists were opposed to western liberalism, this is true, but these were still right-wing authoritarian movements. You won't find a bigger anticommunist in history than Adolf Hitler.

  • @perpetualpeace81 Funny, Hitler was ALLIED with Stalin, who called him "my SOCIALIST brother". There's absolutely no question about the fact that Hitler was ON THE LEFT. Guess who created the myth that the Nazis were "on the right"? Stalin, after Hitler attacked him and he wanted to distance himself from his Socialist Brother!

Ever since, idiots all over the planet kept repeating this pathetic commie lie.

  • @AmadeusPower I really don't want to get into a pissing contest with you, but here are a few choice selections from Mein Kampf:

In the years 1913 and 1914 I expressed my opinion for the first time in various circles, some of which are now members of the National Socialist Movement, that the problem of how the future of the German nation can be secured is the problem of how Marxism can be exterminated.

  • @perpetualpeace81 The fact that he was against Marxism doesn't mean that he wasn't a socialist himself. In fact, he offered the right to join the Nazi party to any captured Marxists, but he didn't extend this offer to Social Democrats, considering them "weak".

Marxists and Nazis were COMPETITORS, hunting for members among the exact same population, the proletariat.

Do I have to remind you of all the wars between Bolsheviks, Mensheviks and Trotskists, all Marxists?

  • @perpetualpeace81 The Heretics are always worse than the non-believers. That also holds for political institutions. Which is why Stalin sent an assassin all the way to Mexico to have Trotsky murdered with an ice pick. He never sent anyone after Ayn Rand from St-Petersburg who glorified Capitalism, did he?

So the fact that Stalin murdered innumerable Marxists, does that mean that he wasn't a Marxist?

  • @perpetualpeace81

"Dear Mr. Godwin. Your Internet laws work PERFECTLY!"

  • @perpetualpeace81 Yes, yes, the non-agression pact. Hitler's Germany had similar "alliances" with American industry too, but you probably already knew this.

  • @thejimmyzshow Actually it's the ultra conservatives on the right wing who are the fascists..

  • @LeoLeoni13 Hmm, I didn't know that the Constitution was fascist.

  • @thejimmyzshow what does the constitution have to do with anything? are you equating far-right psychos with the constitution?

  • @thejimmyzshow That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.

  • @LeoLeoni13 Nazis = National SOCIALISTS. What you (wrongly) call "liberals" in the US are SOCIALISTS. And yes, their ideology is exactly the same as that of the Nazis, who also tried to "protect the environment", who also hated smoking and eating meat. And like modern socialists, they were anti-Semites, because Jews - they think - are Capitalists and hence "evil". That goes back to the (Jewish) Karl Marx, who wrote the famous "Jewish Question". Today, they call it "anti-Sionism". Same thing!

  • @AmadeusPower Firstly, Tell me a single economic issue on which modern day liberals have a strictly socialist position. Further, capitalism was not the only system the Nazis hated. They also thought Jews had attached themselves to liberalism, democracy, Marxism and trade unionism. Hitler himself was a vegetarian, but eating meat was not a main concern of the Nazis, nor was environmentalism. Finally, last I checked, liberals don't advocate genocide, so that argument was a bit stupid wasn't it?

  • @AmadeusPower What a retard you have no idea of the difference between fascism, communism, and liberalism

  • He's is no saying that pollution is ok. He's just saying that pullution is a problem for us not for the Earth. No matter what we do some life form will survive but if WE want to survive and keep our way of living we must be mor responsabile with our enviroment. Yes, we probably can live with no fertile soil or dead seas, but do we want to live that way?

  • @montotosk but hes saying your climate change is bull

i agree with the pollution part i really do but fuck the gov when they say i have to spend money to save the planet

  • @montotosk If you truly want to make a difference, learn to spell. People will take you more seriously if they know that you are educated. For God sake! You spelled pollution correctly in one sentence, and then completely fucked it up in the next. What is wrong with you. Are you a tit baby?

  • hahahah this is a good one

  • Very good idea. I join.

Close all nuclear power plants in the world now forever !

    Best wishes from Germany

  • Comic fucking genius. If only so much of it wasn't true.

  • @mikzyspitlik no argument here, but he makes a great point. i mean we're all going to die eventually and by all i mean the human race will die out and the planet will still be here and it will eventually heal it self and adapt to whatever damage we may have caused. The only reason we're trying to 'save' the planet is so that we can survive on it a bit longer that's exactly what george said he's 100 percent right.

  • Fucking A brilliant! I miss George Carlin.

  • Why are we here?

    Plastic, assholes!

  • @mikzyspitlik

    death too...

painful...but eternal sleep is a nice prospect !

  • Nice ending :-)

  • Fuck saving electricity, i'm on the internet now.

    GEORGE CARLIN APPROVES IT

  • @RandomGuy1994

Carlin didn`t say - be wasteful.

He meant that people groups enforce their opinion on us. And it is true that often good intentions are being fulfilled with action that has no firm scientific basis.

  • the planet isnt goin anywhere WE are

PACK YOUR SHIT FOLKS!! hahaha classic

  • The problem is the jews! covetous jews who want nothing more than to steal our gold and the green off this earth and leave us and the earth pennyless!

  • It's funny to hear this segment and then to realize that Carlin aligned himself with the left wingers. I liked his act alot better before he got all political.

  • hilarious, and what a wonderful and beautiful way to end it!

  • i generally love and agree with George but THIS IS SOME SERIOUSLY STUPID SHIT. Not really helpful. anyone hear of the great pacific trash vortex? (google that if you haven't) the very last thing we need. i don't like mainstream environmentalists either... may i suggest you read Derrick Jensen "Endgame".

it's true... the PEOPLE are fucked.

it's true... we're talking about us, not the earth. we're to save humans, not the earth. DUH. but we're causing faster extinctions! much faster.

  • @caseyforever Agreed. Carlin is completely full of ess and ignorant, as usual.

  • @philbiker3

Let me guess....you're a christian????? FUCK YOU!!!!

  • @caseyforever

anyway the planet will heal itself like Carlin said ...

If we have Micro organism that lives in Nuclear infected containers and In Arsenic ...certainly the next generation of Species will cope with that ...

they may feed on Plastic ,(or the plastic may dissolve {through volcanic activity and blend back to the earth {)

    same with the Toxic gases...

anyway Nature will still be able to cope and continue its Cycle ....

but one thing is sure we will die...

  • @thefutureboom you can go get fucked by a pack of aids infected silver back gorillas you stupid cocksucker... oh and your god isn't real either fuckass.

  • @hellboymaine you'll find out. Oh and say hi to George when you get there. By the way your bad language doesn't scare anyone. You think you win an argument by using offensive words.

  • @thefutureboom You dumbass, quit reading fairytales

  • I have re-gained my faith in humanity

  • @acavideo You're insane.

  • Al Gore needs to listen to this, and then take a transcript of this, and memorize it, and then recite it publicly. Stupid Al Gore.

  • You eco-nazi enviorn-MENTAL-ists need to listen to this OVER and over and over again until you GET IT.

  • humans are the stupiest and most fucked up species will we be the most endangered animals on this fucking planet

  • George Carlin was a genius. I think he's right. The people are fucked.

  • Yup!!

The real problem is with the people, the system...

This guy has it figured out.

  • One George's BEST commentaries. Lots of truth here. He's got balls, too. Gotta' hand it to him! Good one, George!

  • Fucking hecklers.

  • We should create a George Carlin ReGIME!!!!IN HIS HONOR LETS ALL TELL THESE 'people' FUZZ!

    the george carlin ecademy

  • @Helixjt3 George Carlin would hate it because he hated being apart of any group, if there are a group of people who joined together to be like him, he'd be pissed off. He would be even more pissed if people wanted to be like him rather than being themselves (being individuals). He loved individuals and hated conformists.

  • @1989DaVinci

George Carlin whether he liked it or not was a teacher, a person who liked to share his beliefs. Anyone that puts themsevles out there as he did will come across others who where extremely inspired by his work. The comment I made showed the enthusiam I have because of his beliefs, this is in no way a reflextion of actions going to be taken to that extent. Its silly to believe that someone would create a George Carlin Regime. I don't know why you couldn't see the sarcasim.
