Scales are such a pain. My teacher is on his man period every freaking day about them. I can play difficult stuff without them so whats the point? it just ticks me off. Why ruin what you love to do (playing tenor) with STUPID SCALES. Sorry had to vent :P Awesome video though!
While I can appreciate the time & effort you took in demonstrating this scale to the novice, if a beginning musician lacks the effort to research and learn this on their own . . . . they won't be much of a musician. Got any fun stuff show-off videos?
the whole point of this vid is to show how you play a scale not just someone showing off, i just learned how to play because of this guy and i don't get proper lessons so he's doing a damn fine job!

i just got my tenor saxophone today, and I asked my teacher for an alto. Well I guess he sort of proved that a tenor is just as good

Yo man, Im trying not to judge you just by scales but you should really invest some time in long tones. Your G's were very sharp.
Do some long tone studies every day
BTW- Expert village is really starting to piss me off

your horn might have a leak. run a light through it or have a repair tech look at it.

Support that high B :)

That's really good. It's a pain... With the octave key pressed down,I find D E F really quiet.. well,mainly D and E.
And on top of that, they sometimes slide down into the lower octave.
